When I originally booked Mike I asked him if he would be comfortable doing small announcements and introductionsHe said he was totally fine doing thatDuring the week of my wedding I still hadn’t heard from him to discuss the songs we wanted played for the ceremony and reception but I assumed he had them because my wedding coordinator had already emailed him the schedule and song selectionsBut two days before the wedding I receive a frantic call from Mike saying that he needs me to send him both the songs we wanted played and also the *** videos of the songsMy fiance and I assumed he was using the these *** as reference and then would download the actual songs from ***Wrong! So the wedding day comes and right before the ceremony, my wedding coordinator informs me that Mike is throwing a hissy fit about not wanting to make any announcements even though I verified this with him in emails months priorDuring the procession he didn’t mix the songs properly so that everything felt rushed and the timing of the songs was offI had to take time out of my cocktail hour because he had questions about what songs he should play during the receptionHe kept asking if we wanted Pitbull and I repeatedly told him we wanted no Pitbull songs playedHe claimed not to have the music files for the special dance called Grand March even though I emailed all the files to himLuckily I cc’d my wedding coordinator who forwarded him the filesThis is not something a bride and groom should have to deal with on their wedding dayMike is extremely unprofessional, doesn’t communicate effectively and does not put enough emphasis on customer satisfactionWe rewarded his slacker behavior by not tipping him and writing this review to warn future couples to go elsewhere for their DJ needs

We rewarded his slacker behavior by not tipping him and writing this review to warn future couples to go elsewhere for their DJ needs.

Review: We have tried close to everything to be able to obtain our wedding video, and still can do it. One of the most important days of our life is about to disappear in hand os heartless and unprofessional people.

Our wedding was on May [redacted] and we booked a package: DJ+Video, through the company NY ELITE ENTERTAINMENT, in Long Island, NY. Besides we have had an unpleasant experience with the DJ, we let go. But when it came to our wedding video, we still don't have.

Our contract states that we should receive 2 DVDs; one containing hour edited video, another the entire wedding raw footage within 6 weeks. Video and DJ were completely paid on May [redacted]. After 6 weeks nothing, and my husband and I being ignored by the DJ (who we have the contract with), and the [redacted] (the 3rd party). After several emails and a month delay, we received a 19 minutes video through a link - missing the toasts and the cutting cake, besides other important moments of our wedding. The video guy stated our wedding was too short! (it was 6 hours and we paid them for full 6 hours service).

After continuously being ignored, we posted reviews at weddingwire and theknot - The DJ emailed me immediately to take the "false reviews" down. The reviews were 100% true, so we decided to keep. Then he emailed us: If you would like your video, see me in court".

I spent hour and days going to courts, talking to lawyers and even went to the police to see if someone could help. Checked the Revdex.com for consumer fraud and this company has a similar complaint. However, as NY ELITE ENTERTAINMENT is not accredited with Revdex.com, they never responded to the case.

We finally decided to hire a lawyer for couple of yours for advice. She suggested that we offer to take the reviews down - even we don't admit any liability - in change we would have our raw footage so we could send to another person to edit.

The DJ and [redacted], [redacted], promised that if we took the reviews down, he would send us our raw footage within 7 days. 2 weeks passed, we insist calling and sending emails and he doesn't reply.

In the meantime, the [redacted], [redacted] Kapoor, for Diamond Studios Video keeps harassing us, demanding us to tell Michael to pay him - obviously they have signed a contract between them. He threatened us: if I don't get paid by NY ELITE, your entire video will be deleted.

It is so sad, my husband recently lost him mom, my family came from overseas to our simple and small wedding. Our best friends all live abroad and we would love to share our moments with them, as they couldn't be here. We are very fair and educated people, we just want what we paid for and what it is our right.Desired Settlement: We want our 6 hour wedding video raw footage in DVD that we have fully paid for, and have the contract for.

Review: I PAID $400.OO USD TO NY ELITE ENTERTAINMENT FOR A 3 1/2 HOURS DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE ON 08/**/13. THE PURPOSE WAS MY SON'S BABY SHOWER. THE DEAL WAS MADE WITH [redacted] WHO POSES AS THE BUSINESS'S OWNER. THE DJ ARRIVED LATE TO MY PARTY AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER TOOK PICTURES THE ENTIRE NIGHT. THE ISSUE IS THAT THEY LOST ALL MY PICTURES. I HAVE MADE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO FIND OUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED REGARDS TO THESE PICTURES BUT THE COMPANY IS UNRESPONSIVE AND AVOIDING ME. THE MEMORIES OF THAT SPECIAL NIGHT WERE LOST WITH MY PICTURES. I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE. THANK YOU.Desired Settlement: THE IS NO MONETARY REPLACEMENT FOR THE LOST PICTURES OF THAT NIGHT. I AM LOOKING FOR A COMPLETE REFUND OF THE COST I PAID, WHICH WAS $400.00 USD.
