Review: In April of 2013, The New York Islanders advertised that purchasing season tickets to them at that time, while located in Long Island, would guarantee season tickets when they moved to Brooklyn for the 2015-2016 season and on. I purchased season tickets in April of 2013 solely for this reason. Today, January **, 2015, I contacted [redacted], my season ticket representative, who informed me that because of my out of state mailing address, I would not be able to renew my season tickets for next year.

First of all, regarding the address, in April of 2013, [redacted] verbally assured me not only that I would get seats in Brooklyn, but that I would get priority, since I would not be considered a broker. The reason for this was because he broke up my fifteen seats into three different accounts, each with a different mailing address. Two of the three accounts were in New York. I made no request to change the addresses, yet [redacted] went ahead and changed them on my account without my permission. I have an email from [redacted] to prove this. As a result, I am suddenly no longer allowed to renew my tickets.

Over the course my discussions with [redacted] in 2013, he verbally made it clear that I would have tickets in Brooklyn. This is an obvious example of a bait and switch. Over the course of the past two seasons, I have lost considerable time and money on these tickets, as the entire goal here was to secure seats in Brooklyn. I have ample documentation to provide, if needed, on said losses.

Lastly, not allowing me to renew tickets due to an out of state mailing address clearly is impeding interstate commerce.Desired Settlement: Immediate availability of all fifteen season tickets for next season, as well as an assurance that I will retain my season tickets until I decide to get no longer renew. Anything less than that, I deem unsatisfactory, as that is what I was assured I would be getting.

We understand that he is currently out of the country but will continue to try to work with him and the [redacted] to achieve a result that is satisfactory to all parties. If we ultimately feel we are unable to do so, we will at that point respond more fully to the substance of Complaint ID #[redacted]. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards. This is in response to the NY Islanders never contacting me as they assured me they would via a prior Revdex.com complaint (ID # [redacted]) on ** February 2015. This was their response of that date: "We are in receipt of Complaint ID #[redacted] and apologize for the inadvertent delay in responding to the notice of complaint in writing. We would like to address [redacted]’s complaint with him directly, in the hopes of mediating an amicable solution between him and the [redacted] for the purchase of hockey season tickets, and have accordingly reached out to him. We understand that he is currently out of the country but will continue to try to work with him and the [redacted] to achieve a result that is satisfactory to all parties. If we ultimately feel we are unable to do so, we will at that point respond more fully to the substance of Complaint ID #[redacted]. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards. [redacted]" On Monday ** February 2015, I contacted [redacted], who offered me four (4) tickets, which is eleven less tickets than we had agreed upon. He said he would take my complaint to his superiors and call me back. He has not done so and has not called me back. This matter is still unresolved.

Immediate availability of all fifteen season tickets for next season, as well as an assurance that I will retain my season tickets until I decide to get no longer renew. Anything less than that, I deem unsatisfactory, as that is what I was assured I would be getting.
