I got these pair of model MDRXLK 025 Lugz short boots. I have been wearing them only 1 or 2 times a week, they are pretty comfortable but now 1 of the soles completely fell off. I don't see any glue on there, how could this have come apart just by walking on them? They are shoes and are supposed to protect my feet.
I am very disappointed that such a new pair of boots could just fall apart. Doesn't China have proper glue for these boots?
What can I do with them since they were a gift from my father and he no longer has the receipt?

My name is David Haka. I reside in Rochester, n.y.. I purchased a pair of Lugz approximatly 1 moth ago. About a week ago I noticed the sole on the front of the right boot started coming unglued. I have not put any undue wear or tear on these specific pair of boots other than wearing them every few days (I wore them maybe 2 or 3 times a week) so basic wear. The sole is totally coming unglued and I can no longer wear them. Seeing as I have purchased Lugz boots before and never had a problem, I feel that the matter of this specific pair be looked at and I have them replaced ... my email address is : [email protected]. please send me a response and I will forward a photo of the boots and a copy of the reciept if necessary. Boots makin horrible noises and the soles are coming apart at the seams in only a month

Review: Purchased a pair of Lugz "Drifter" boots from Big5 Sporting goods. Knowing Lugz is advertised as a good boot maker I decided on buying a pair. After about 2 weeks of wearing them in an office environment they began to show signs of falling apart, the sole began to make crunching noises and fall apart. After about a month they were completely unwearable, the sole was torn open at the front heel and the bottom was cracked in several points allowing water to seep into the boot easily. I called Big5 and they said to contact Lugz and I did and never got any sort of response from email. I also posted a negative review of the boots on their site and Lugz of course decided, in their better interest not to post it. I do see that they have other boots on their site, and maybe this model is just a bad design, I like Lugz style.Desired Settlement: I would like to at least be able to "trade" the poorly designed boots for a more reliable pair as I like the styles they provide.

Review: I am tired of companies such as this one selling cheap products and trying to take my hard earned money by not being truthful about the product and charging me to send the porduct back because it is defective and cheap looking. I paid almost $69 for these boots and they would not stay tied, my shoe strings kept coming loose, they flip flopped and they were not suede. There is no way to call this company and complain so I was hoping they would get better, they got worse(shoe) I emailed the company and they want me to pay for the return. I am NOT PAYING for the rturn of your shoes that re defective, take them back and give me y money back. Thant is what I want. I did not know these peole are connected to famous footwear, I DO NOT SHOP THERE AT ALL IT IS LIKE A PAYLESS.Desired Settlement: OF ALL OF MY MONEY DUE TO DEFECTIVE HOSE/ BOOTS

Review: I ordered a pair of boots from Lugz. When they arrived and I was putting them on for the first time and tightening the laces, the left lace became completely shredded by one of the eyelets through which the laces go. There is a small section missing from the metal ring around the eyelet creating a sharp edge. Since I had no other shoes to wear, I chose to overlook this and within a couple of days the eyelet cut through the lace completely. I replaced the lace and within 2 days it had cut through the replacement as well. Having had the shoes for less than 2 weeks I contacted the company for an exchange and was told I needed to provide photographs of the problem. After sending 3 different sets of photos I was told that they would only offer a discount on the shoes and no replacement. I cannot wear the shoes as they are and the company policy states that they will give a replacement for defective parts and they won't honor that policy. I don't believe it's fair that I should have to pay any amount for a pair of shoes I can not wear.Desired Settlement: Either exchange the boots for a pair that are not defective or give me a full refund.
