NY State Limo

Review: I purchased a Living Social voucher for $25.00 for a $50.00 discount for any car service from NY State Limo. I also purchased a $40 voucher for a trip from Manhattan to EWR airport. It was painfully difficult to get in touch with NY State Limo because they do not answer their phones and only work through email. If they do call you, they never leave messages so I have no idea who has called me and if I dial back the number called, no one answers. I had to send them my credit card number several times as they kept losing the email. When I asked how do I contact the driver in case I need for the pickup, they said that their policy is to text us the night before, and they would text me the driver's information. (Which they did on 5/** for our 5/** trip from Manhattan to EWR). The driver arrived on time but parked several houses away and was blasting extremely loud techno music at 4:30 am. He became very agitated when I asked him to turn it off and then yelled at us for about 5 minutes when I asked him to go a different route. He told me he was sick of us "Living Social" customers and proceeded to yell at me for the next few miles. He did get us to the airport and I chose to forget the incident but we have never been treated that poorly by a car service company. I was shocked how unprofessional he was. We left for our vacation on 5/** and returned 5/** from Phoenix. By 5/**, even though I had a confirmation email from NY State Limo, I did not have a text message with our driver's number so that I could arrange pickup at EWR. I texted back the number that originally texted me on 5/** the morning of 5/** at 10am PST, but they never responded. They had 6 hours to text me which they didn't. (I received other personal texts throughout the day that I was able to access upon landing and turning on my phone therefore I know they didn't attempt to contact us). We spent most of the day in the airplane with our telephones shut off. When we landed, both my husband and I immediately turned on our phones but we had NO text messages, NO emails and NO voicemails from NY State Limo. I proceeded to email them several times, call their various numbers and text. We turned our phones on at 6:10 pm and by 7:02pm we had not heard any news from NY State Limo and had no way of reaching them (As they don't answer their phones) and we didn't know if we were going to picked up or not because we had no way of meeting our driver. Frustrated, we hopped in a cab back to NYC. I then emailed NY State Limo again and told them to cancel as there was no way to reach them for a pickup. Immediately, someone from their dispatch center called me and told me they have been trying to call us all day but we didn't "pick up" (I inquired how we could possibly pick up if they know we're flying and can't answer our phones and WHY didn't they leave a message but they just said that it's our fault). Also upon receiving my cancellation email stating that they didn't coordinate our pickup, they then sent an email with our driver's number (Of course, AFTER I canceled the trip and after we waited all day for this information!) We have absolutely no record that they tried calling us all day because they don't leave voicemail messages and naturally, our phones were off while in flight. Further, dispatch said that they will be charging US as a "no show" when they were the ones that were incommunicable and we were the ones that were starnded. They were extremely unapologetic and exhibited poor customer service for a car service company where its customers have no way of contacting the dispatch center. Living Social posted back $15 of the $25 spent but I am more concerned as NY State Limo has our credit card numbers, our address, my work address and our phone numbers and emails. I feel this company is extremely shady and frankly, I am a little afraid of them after the way the first driver treated us. I feel that they make it exceptionally difficult for customers to coordinate travel and therefore slap on additional fees and charges to exasperated clients. We canceled our credit cards so that they cannot charge us some unknown amount as I have no idea what a "No show" fee would be. As this company asks for credit card numbers via email I am very concerned about how secure any of our correspondence was.Desired Settlement: I would like them to reimburse me the difference in the Living Social voucher of $10 that went unused as well as drop the "No Show" charges and any other outstanding charges they may decide to post against us and send this to us in writing with an apology for the terrible service rendered on both trips. The $10 can be reimbursed via cashier's check to us as I do not want to give them any more of my cc numbers.

At this time, I have not been contacted by NY State Limo regarding complaint ID [redacted]. From what I understand on [redacted] and other sites, they have not contacted back anyone who complained to the Revdex.com.

Review: I purchased a voucher from NY State Limo which states tax, tip and toll are not included in the cost of the voucher. My cc was charged $48.23 for tax and toll along with $14 for the tip. Charge should have been $34.23. I paid the driver seperately because the voucher specifically states tip was not included. I emailed them twice and left a voicemail. My emails or voicemail were not returned was I questioned the charges.Desired Settlement: I would like the tip of $14 to be credited back to my credit card. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge of $14 as well.
