Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have sent the business and the Revdex.com all receipts that I have.  The original price was I was told by the sales rep was $2500.  I was asked if that could be reduced by $200.  He said he would have to speak to the breeder.  He said they could discount.  At no time, did I ever say I would pay cash.  I did not have that amount of cash to spend.  When the financing contract was drawn up, the price on the receipt was not $2300, but instead, $2399.  When I questioned it, they said I misunderstood.   I was in their store for 4 hours, while my son held the puppy the whole time.  I agreed to the $2399, but [redacted] said he was going to ask for 2900 to include the supplies.  Then he asked for another $200 which I had to pay thru ebay because I did not have a credit card with that amount on it.  I was very hot, and tired, from being there so long.  When they were finally ready to check me out, I did not take most of the supplies they wanted to sell me.  When I got home, I was preoccupied with the puppy and making a place for her.  Soon after the finance company called me.  I spoke to them several times, and asked why the finance agreement was so high.  They said , did you get supplies.  I said yes but I never received a receipt for them.  They said I should get a receipt from the store.  Which I attempted to several times.  I just received the receipt on Wednesday August **, from an employee [redacted].  It shows that I paid even less than I thought for supplies.  [redacted], the person I am speaking with, offered to give me a discount if I pay in full.  I explained to him, I was overcharged in the finance papers, and why was I even charged the extra $200 that I payed through Paypal.  He overcharged me, I don't know what he was trying to do, but this "cash discount" he keeps referring to is not true at all.   I would like the $200 returned to me, and the finance amount set to the correct amount that I owe.  I have attached corrected amount.  The finance papers, the paypal transaction.

Review: On 9/**/13 we brought a Yorkie-Poo & a Shih-Tzu-Poo from NY Breeders, White Plains. We visited the store several times before we decided to make a purchase, on 9/** we put a depoit down on a Yorkie- Poo. We left the deposit & the dog in the store so we could take the 2 puppys home at the same time. On 9/**, NY Breeders called to let me know a similar dog, a Shih-Tzu-Poo, that I was interested in was available and to come the store. We went down to the store & brought both the dogs. We paid $2596 for the 2 dogs. When we brought the dogs home [redacted] (Shih-Tzu-Poo) was coughing. We rent sure what was wrong because we are new to owning dogs. By day 3 both dogs were coughing and I called the store to let someone know the dogs were sick. Since we already had an appt with their recommended Vet ([redacted]) on Sept **, I was told to go see the vet.I went to see the Vet on Sept ** and both dogs were now sick with Kennel Cough. I had to purchase meds for them both & treat them@ home. Although [redacted] (Shih-Tzu-Poo) recovered from her cough, [redacted] (Yorkie-Poo) didnt and still hasnt. I had to take her back to the Vet again purchase more meds& she needed a nebulizer treatment as well. I called the store again to be reimbursed for selling us a sick dog, who in turn made our other otherwise healthy dog sick. The reimbursement requested was to cover the 2nd vet visit and meds from the 1st and 2nd visits. In the preceding weeks on more than one occasion when I called the store again to explain what happened and I wanted to be reimbursed for the vet visits and meds. I was told that someone would call the vet to see what happened and speak to a manager and I would receive a back. I never received a phone call back. When I called for the last time on Sept **, and requested a manager I spoke to [redacted] to tell him what was going on and my dog was still sick. He was rude, argumentative, arrogant and abrasive and on top of all that hung the phone up on me without ever calling back.Desired Settlement: I am asking again for a reimbursement for the additional vet visit and the medication we had to buy for the dogs. This is a total of $169.00. (One-hundred and sixty-nine dollars). As well as a refund of $1000 (One Thousand Dollars) for selling us a sick dog. Making it a total of $1169.00 (One Thousand One-Hundred and Sixty Nine Dollars and zero cents).their sister store in BK manager did help us but told us we had to request a refund from the White Plains store.

Review: Put a deposit down to hold a puppy off the selling floor until spouse was able to see. When things did not work out, was told that deposits are non refundable. Was not informed of this at time nor does my receipt indicate any such practice.Desired Settlement: Refund back to my debit card.

Response:

Customer left non-refundable deposit on puppy. She had been advised of our store policies prior to leaving deposit and she assured us that she would be back to pick up puppy. A week had gone by and after several attempts of calling customer and being told husband and she would be in to pick up puppy customer called to advise she was not picking up puppy. She was advised puppy could have been sold several times in that time frame and that her non-refundable deposit was indeed non-refundable. We did tell her she could use deposit in future towards the sale of another puppy. This claim is an attempt of black mailing us in order to get her deposit back.

Review: On Dec.**,2013, I purchased a puppy for 2,000. They informed me that the puppy had a cold and I would have to bring it to them everyday to get a neutralizer. I did but on the second day he looked worse so I brought him to there vet only to find out that the vet said I was lucky I brought him here today . He had kennel cough which turned into pneumonia. The vet informed me that they should of not sold me this dog even if it only had a cold and that the puppies should not be treated by the vet tech there because they are not veterinarians. They are supposed to bring them to him first. Well the puppy got my 3 other dogs sick and on Christmas day I had to rush them to the emergency vet because of the same symptoms of the puppy. They had kennel cough and the the vet said it was do to the puppy. Well I went to the store to ask if they can pay for my vet billls. The manager [redacted] is obnoxious and did not want to hear it. I asked him for the manager he said no. I should him the bill. They refuse to pay it. I am very disgusted with them because all the care about is the money and if I did not bring the puppy to to the vet he would of died.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay my dogs vet bills since the puppy got them sick and after dealing with this Manager they should pay me the 2,000 for the puppy.

The new dog was taken care of. I just don't understand why they are not liable for my dogs. Both vets said it was because of the puppy.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have read what the NY Breeder sent you which is all false. Let me clarify with you. They told me my pug had a cold and that to come to them every day to get a neublizer. Well on third day it did not seem it was working and I brought him to their Vet which is Dakota Veterinary in Greenburgh. The doctor informed me that this dog does not have a cold he has pneumonia and even if they said he had a cold they should of not sold you a sick dog. The dog should of been seen by him. My pug stayed for 4 days. My other 3 dogs got sick and on Christmas day and I had no choice but to go to a 24 emergency vet. They were coughing vomiting and they had over 103 fever. I was informed that they had kennel cough and the the pug I purchased gave it to them. I ask the vet if they can give me a written statement so I can show them that. Also I went to their vet and they told me Absoultely the pug gave them kennel cough. I took all the documents and went to the ny breeders and spoke to gary. He said he would look into it and if it says that the dog gave them kennel cough he will take care of it. I waited for a response back and called him he informed me he is not giving my money. I said I would like to speak to the owner and he said no. I can only speak to him. Then he said that he is a half owner. With that he hung up on me.

The bottom line is he was not suppose to sell me a sick dog and you can call their vet and he would tell you that. He is responsible for getting my dogs sick. He should of paid the vet bill like a good business would. I paid 2000 for the pug and I was treated like crap and on Christmas day I had to take my poor dogs to the vet. If he is so called a half owner he should of satisfied his customer even when I gave him the documents to prove.

So if you don't think I am telling the truth you can call his vet Dakota Veterinary in Greenburg and Emergency Vet in greenburgh.

Review: Upon purchasing a puppy from NY Breeder, I asked the [redacted] if the puppy could be returned if there was problems between my existing dog and the new puppy. He told me it won't be a problem. Upon taking the puppy home, she bit my dog. I spoke with the [redacted] asking to return the dog. After endless emails and pictures of the dog bite, the [redacted] still neglected to take the dog back. The term "unfit" used in the return policy does not pertain to any behavioral problems, just health. I'm outraged that I'm stuck with the $1900 dog that is "unfit" for my household.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the full amount of $1900 plus tax for the dog.

Review: On March **, 2014 I purchased a dog from NY Breeder. The sale price of the dog was $2399. (Bill of Sale attached).I asked, prior to the purchase how much the total would be with supplies and sales tax, so that I could know what I was spending. The sales rep, [redacted], kept going to the [redacted] and asking him. I was finally given a price of around $2900.I have attached the finance contract for a total finance price of: $2973.82.I was also told by [redacted], that because I was not financed for 100% of the loan, I had to give him an additional $200. I paid him through paypal, which I have also attached the receipt.I was in the store for at least 4 hours with my son holding the dog. There was a lot of confusion and waiting.By the time it was finally over, the [redacted] had a lot of supplies on the counter for me to buy. I told him I did not need all that. He was very persistant, and I had to practically argue that I didn't need all that he had for me to buy. I have an estimate list that I made of the supplies. I was not given a sales receipt for the supplies to see what I was charged for. I repeatedly called the store, and he said I should have gotten one. Then he said I must of lost it. Then he said, I am confused about what was financed. He was quite rude in my opinion. In any case, I called the store again yesterday, and [redacted]ander, another employee, said [redacted] would not be back until Wednesday.I did speak to [redacted] once and asked why I paid the extra $200 and would like a refund. This is when he told me I was confused at the finance price. have not as yet, received the itemized receipt of the supplies that were iIpurchased that day. I did not check in the bag for a receipt when I lft the sDesired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $200 that he charged me for no reason, and an itemized receipt to see if he owes me more. My total is about $100 less on my estimate and that may be due also, but I have no receipt to check it against. I would like the refund right away as I have been trying to get this settled for over 2 weeks now.

Customer was fully aware of what she purchased. Store clerks explain each item and the use of item because training is free here at the store. At no time did customer ever try to return any item. Customer was given a cash price but had changed her mind and financed. Customer again was fully aware by her statement in the original complaint. Customer has since gone in default of finance contract. We have been attempting to settle this by offering her the extra $200 back if she pays for the puppy in full. We still to date have had no response. If customer is willing to pay for her puppy we will gladly refund her the $200.00 she is seeking.
