Review: "[redacted]" FROM NYC GATES & IRON WORKS GAVE AN ESTIMATE TO INSTALL NEW MOTOR AND SWITCH ON 2 GATES OF STOREFRONT. GAVE WRITTEN ESTIMATE OF $1500 PLUS TAX = $1633.12 ON 4/*/14. I PAID HIM BY CHECK AND THE CHECK WAS CASHED. HE NEVER SHOWED UP TO DO THE JOB DESPITE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND EMPTY PROMISES TO SHOW UP. NUMEROUS TIMES SAID "I'M ON MY WAY....," ETC. HIS PHONE NUMBER IS ###-###-#### WHICH GOES TO HIS CELL PHONEDesired Settlement: REFUND OF $1633.12

Review: A few months ago workers installed garage gate (motor install). I recieved the invoice after installation but it never mentioned putting up a cover in accordance with the 2 year warranty. I had an issue with the gate and contacted the company. They visited and provided me with the service but claimed I was out of warranty because of the missingg cover. I told workers that I would like to put up the cover so I can have the warranty. I paid 325$ for the service they would return shortly to put the cover. They did not return and I have been contacting them via phone and they kept saying they were coming but still as of today they have not put up the cover. They also demanded money before any service, would not work until payment was paid in full.Desired Settlement: Since the day of 2/**/14 I kept calling and they said they would come but never came till today. I contacted 311 after couple days after and also filed a complaint. I have been scammed and I am looking for a refund.

Review: 9 days after services were rendered (service on 7/**/14 & 7/**/14) and paid in full, gate is still inoperable. NYC gates and Iron Works/[redacted] who was present at the time of initial service call says it can't be fixed over the weekend without incurring a $175 emergency fee. If we wait until Monday the gate can be repaired under the warrantee during normal business hours. This conversation took place on 8/*/14 [redacted] was scheduled to come that Monday 8/* then said he needed parts would come 8/* has been a no show, no call since. Will not take our calls, and goes straight to voicemail. The ###-###-#### number provided goes to his cell phone.Desired Settlement: Complete the job that was done incorrectly.

Review: I have entered into contract with the company and pay them a deposit of $700. After they collected the payment, they never returned to install the gate and repeatedly given false promises to fulfill the work. I have signed the contract with them on Feb **, 2014. The companies address is listed no where and I am afraid I was scammed. The self claimed name he go by is [redacted]. Their website [redacted] does not list their address either. When I call the number listed on their website, he claimed that he forgot the location of my business where the gate are to be installed. Another time he told me that his van broke down and could not make it. Another time, he claimed he was lost and could not find the store location. This is completely ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I desire for them to return the deposit
