NYC Moving Manhattan Movers

Review: Contracted with mover for $95/hour, paid by credit card to move my sons from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Told fee would include disassembly and reassembly of furniture, no extra charge for walk up, and no travel time charge. Expected 4 hours at 95/hour. Planned to include a $100 tip. Movers were 5 hours late due to breakdown, then said the fee would be an extra $300 due to traffic - even though website clearly states not charged for travel time. Would not deal with disassembling furniture and also insisted on cash payment instead of credit card and refused to unload truck on arrival at destination. When calling main line, person was helpful. When it came time to unload truck, became apparent person on main line was also person in truck, who proceeded to cuss me out and hang up on me. Had to call the police.Desired Settlement: They are a scam. Just wanted you to know and hope you will pursue them, or at the least, make this complaint public.
