We hired NYC Repossession to handle a vehicle we needed recoveredWe are based out of FTL, FL so we only had communication via email and phoneAfter days we received a location where the customer would be abandoning the vehicleWe informed them and they were willing to go pick up the vehicleThe vehicle was recovered and they want to bill us $for a the repo of the vehicleMost repo's average about 275-in the area of new york, we called around and compared pricing from his local competitorsWe tried to speak to the owner of the repo and offered to pay him triple the highest rate in the area ($500)plus a 30% increase on that feeWhich is $dollarsHe refuses to give us a detailed breakdown and we never agreed to pay by the hourHe has given us no explanation as to why the fee is so highHe is now in possession of our vehicle and is not willing to negotiate
