[redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Good morning BBB:Throught this email I want to inform BBB that yesterday the company NYC ROOMS called me up to achieve a settlement...So they offer me $125 of the total amount of $225. At the end I received $150 because I do not want to wait more time.So we achieved a settlement and I want to thank you BBB for the important roll to make me recover my money back from that people.I thought the money was lost but there are still people like you help in the moment we need to get help.Thanks a lot for the mediation and to help to resolve this case....I appreciate it a lot...Best regardsPedro A [redacted]

This was the worst experience I've ever had at any establishmentNot only was John M [redacted]  mildly racist while dealing with me, when I called with my issues, he threatened to end the service I payed for hat started yesterdayI went in specifically looking for an apartment, seeing as how their advertisements offer rooms and studiosOnce I arrived, I was told to wipe my feet and wait in the corner of this dim, unnatractive office, while John went in the back to round up leadsHe came back and asked me to post a review for a company I've never been to! He even printed up what he wanted me to write!!! I immediately felt like I should leave, but my situation is a serious one, that doesn't afford me much time, so I pushed past my initial feeling of doubt and payed John the requested feeAs I was leaving, he says " [redacted] .so I look like the type to work in a grocery store?im not sure what his comment really meant, but being someone who works hard in his professional career to advance everyday, that's extremely insultingJust as I thought, once my available places were generated, THERE WERE NO APARTMENTS, ONLY ROOMSThis was a classic bait and switch from a known [redacted] man, please don't do business with NYC Rooms, look up John M [redacted] , this dangerous man has been arrested for this in the past, please be careful to not do business with any of his affiliate companiesI'll be posting this as many places as possible
