We purchased a used washer and dryer set here that came with a 60 day warranty. Literally 2 days after the delivery the washer EXPLODED while washing clothes. They came and got it and said they would fix it and bring it back. It has now be 6 weeks and we still have not received our washer back. They are liars, don't give straight answers and there is absolutely NO excuse to have kept it this long. I try to call them every day and nobody answers. At this point we are ready to sue them. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. BUYER BEWARE.
Review: My wife and I respond to an ad on Craigslist for a LG refrigerator for sale for $1200. We call and spoke with [redacted]. He gave us his business address at 8079 N. Lamar, Austin Tx. We went to his business location and met with [redacted]. After speaking with him, He assured us he is honorable business man and all of his appliances are backed by 30 days written warranty. He said if we paid cash he would give us $200 discount. We made the purchase on the same day April 16, 2014. We paid [redacted] $1000 cash for the LG refrigerator and $50 for delivery and connection fee. Two days later [redacted] and his son delivered the refrigerator as promised. After they connected the refrigerator they left. An hour later water was leaking from the ice/water dispenser. I called [redacted], he instructed me to turn dispenser off and that he will stop by to check it out the next morning. [redacted] came by the next day to look at it. He said to give him couple of days. He will call me when he can bring me another fridge to exchange. Couple of days later, no word from him or his son. Since then my wife and I have made many attempts to see and to speak with [redacted]. He never answers our calls or text. Every time we go to his business we get the same story from his employee who goes by [redacted]. [redacted] have been telling us same story, [redacted] is not here, you just miss him, or he is out on delivery. Finally [redacted] told us [redacted] is in Peru. He won't be back for a week. We waited for a week then went back again. [redacted] said sorry [redacted] is still in Peru. They are giving us run around till warranty expire.Desired Settlement: We are asking for him to honor his word. Do what he promised. Honor his written warranty. Repair the refrigerator, if he can't repair it then he should refund us what we paid him the sum of $1050.
