Dear Ms***, We are providing our response to Mr*** regarding the following complaint received from the Revdex.com. Consumer's Complaint: I applied for a refi with institution (credit union 1), apparently on the date of my closing the loan was sold to the o CU mortgage who I
believed to be my credit union(The play on the name is very deceptive)This information should have been clearly communicated by the loan agent, or loan manager both of which I spoke to the day of closingWhen I walked into the credit union branch to pay my 1st payment (due 7/I then find out that credit union did not have the account set up to receive pymt and that the would investigate the matter and call me backI made multiple calls trying to determine what was going onI finally received a call back from the branch manager with the updateI also received correspondence from Fannie May today notifying me of the changeCU mortgage was not my service provider of choiceI feel like I was deceivedI'm requesting some type of resolution immediatelyPlease, please assist.Company Response: Mr*** was promptly notified of the intent of Credit Union to transfer the servicing of his loan from the beginning of the loan processOn the Loan Estimate's dated 4/5/2016, 4/7/2016, and 5/9/to Mr*** indicated that Credit Union intended to transfer the servicing of the loan (see provided documentation)Also on the day of closing Mr*** was provided with a Notice of Servicing Rights notifying him of the transfer of servicing to C.UMortgage Services, Inc(see provided documentation).When the loan was on boarded with C.UMortgage Services, Incadditional notice was provided to Mr*** on 6/6/about the transfer of his loan to C.UMortgage Services, IncA Welcome Letter was provided notifying him of where and when his first payment is due along with contact information for the servicing department (see provided documentation). Consumer's Desired Resolution: I'm requesting that my loan be reinstated with credit union immediately restricted from transfer for a minimum of 5yearsI'm requesting a financial penalty charge to both companies for deceptive business practices aka bait and switchI would have stayed with a Major Bank if I knew this was going to happen. Company Response to Resolution Request: At this time, we will not honor Mr*** request for resolution as Credit Union and C.UMortgage Services, Incprovided sufficient notice, as required by Federal Regulations, regarding the transfer of his mortgage loan to C.UMortgage Services, Inc.
