I would just like to report my experience with OJLP: this was the 1st negative experience that I have had with this company in years of owning this househad a plumbing stack replaced in feb...bill reflected an overcharge (in my opinion) for time spent @ my house When I called to discuss..I was referred to Project Manager I told him I wrote down the time the plumber arrived & departed & it was not the same as I was charged for...his response was "i wasn't there" (this seemed disrespectful to me)..I deducted the overage from my payment & they did not dispute it...all I wanted was a contact from the owner...didn't happenfast forward months later I scheduled drywall repair from plumbing work...the day the workers arrived ..I had just talked to Ellisville city hall about my repair & they told me there were no permits pulled for the stack work...so called OJLP, tell them to fax required document, have workers stop, go pay for permit, beg inspector to come inspect today...it all worked out, but I called OJLP to complain & asked for owner, not in, referred to PM (T.D.) declined due to our prior interaction, asked receptionist to have owner call me (DL)...no response...waited hours & then filled a review with Revdex.com that was not positive, received a response to review, that explained PM was out of town & it was a mistake that the permit was not submitted, & they had forgiven the $overage in good faith (too bad they didn't tell me that) & sorry for the inconveniencefast forward days later I have a drip in my basement, call OJLP...they let me talk to PM & i'm like uh-oh, i'm sure they are sick of hearing my name...& I was right, PM read my file over the phone..."let's see, you filled a complaint against us on Revdex.com"..so then we rehash the series of events again (we both seemed to be at a stand still/defending out positions) & PM says he needs to check with D.L....he calls me back after I call & withdraw my review with Revdex.com....PM reported that the owner "will pass" on working for me...sooo here is a review of my experienceguess I better find another plumber...no response from company required!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Please have OJ Laughlin Plumbing Co. INC send me a "Final" invoice with the adjusted credit of $66.70 to invoice #[redacted] with the $125.55 amount remaining and I will provide them with a prompt payment of that amount.  I would also like a $0 balance updated invoice for #[redacted] for my records to reflect the fees waived for this unauthorized 2nd visit.   These can be sent to me by email which they have on file.  Once these have been received, I will provide payment for the balance due.

I had a toilet replaced by OJ Laughlin. They were prompt, very professional, and reasonably priced. I have just placed a request for qoute on a water heater replacement I was so pleased with their services.

service (12/4/17) call due to a complaint from the tenant about low pressure to
fixtures, after we had to shut the water down to the unit to complete the
original call (11/24/17). While the plumber was on site (2nd call
out) to determining the cause of the call back we cleaned a couple of aerators
in good faith to help with flow to fixtures at no charge to customer. The
shower head issue was not related to the original call or a byproduct of work
performed, but the customers tenant requested that we replace his shower head
to increase flow to the shower unit. This was billed as time and material only
and only for the time to replace the shower head itself. The plumber did so at
the time unaware that the tenant was not the decision maker. Again I apologize
for the error in communication to get approval on work to be performed at this
address.There is and will be no debate over the service call on
11/24/17 to repair leak that was running down to unit below  ($192.25) Invoice # [redacted]. I will credit
the $66.70 Invoice # [redacted], to the original $192.25 leaving a balance of
$125.55. I deeply apologize for this misunderstanding and error in
communication. I am acknowledging the fact the Owner of the unit did not
personally OK the replacement of the shower head, and will waive all fees
associated with the 2nd visit and credit payment of $66.70 to the
original service call charges of $192.25. Balance will be $125.55.I appreciate the efforts from all parties involved to
