These gentlemen are honest and hard working. They did an excellent job on my new patio. Hire them and you will not regret it.

June 10, This letter is in response to a complaint filed against O & V Construction on 4/17/14, by [redacted] ***, for work that was completed at her residence in October [redacted] alleges that I used a lower grade of concrete than recommended for her drivewayI am attaching a letter from [redacted] , the company which the concrete was purchased from stating that the grade 3,PSI is a standard driveway mix for [redacted] county and is accepted in all of Maryland.No written recommendation was give for what type of Ice Melt to be used; I verbally told [redacted] that I recommend using masonry sand or kitty litterWhen [redacted] asked what I could do about the driveway, I explained to her that it would be too expensive for her to have the driveway redoneMy suggestion was to put a thin coat of cement on top for a discounted price.Between October and the present date [redacted] has highly recommended me to close friends and neighbors.For any further questions I can be reached at the above contact information.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: As I have stated he said that he )*** said that *** *** County says that is the recommended grade in fact that is not true *** *** County says that if a permit had of and should have been order so when it was time to get the driveway to be inspected they would have came out and check to make sure everything was correct and they would have told him what grade to put downI was told by *** that he would get the PERMIT and that he was LICENSED AND BONED to which he is none of the above according to *** *** County and this is what I paid for .....also I was told not to used ROCK SALT on the driveway....but I could use Kitty litter (but that is to Messy according to ***) he said NOTHING IN regard to not using CALCIUM until I told him that is what I used and my daughter was there for everything that was said as I said before I also talked to *** *** *** and he said the recommended grade for driveways is 4,PSI and if he had sealed the drive way we would not be here now I have other people who are not happy with the work *** has done for them I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE

O & V Constructions has acknowledged [redacted] concerns and has offered to place a thin coat of cement over the driveway for a discounted price, which does seem to satisfy [redacted]. For some reason she thinks I am responsible for her mistake in using something other than what I verbally recommended, My recommendation to her was masonry Sand or kitty litter, not calcium. -Due to the rough winter that we had, [redacted] used calcium on her driveway to melt ice, which was never recommended to her. [redacted] states that she paid $3600 for a driveway, which is incorrect, if you refer back to the contract, which is included again, you will note that this job consisted of the total price for all work that done was $3600.00 pot just the driveway. [redacted] accuses of using a lower grade of concrete than what is for [redacted] County, Maryland. I have provided and am sending again documenitation from the Sales & Business Development Representative - [redacted] at [redacted]., which is where the concrete was purchased, stating that ,500 PSI is standard for driveways. Please contact him at [redacted] for further verification.Once again I have offered to remedy the situation, but [redacted] wants a new driveway and that is just not possible for a mistake that she made not O & W Construction,

Review: [redacted] poured a concrete dirveway a my house in 2011 and now my drive way is sheading I was told not to use rock salt on the driveway so I used calcium and now it is sheding when I contacted him he says what do you want me to do I ttld you what not to used ([redacted]) I told him you never told me I could not use calcium so I asked him how are we going to fix this he said he could put something over it but it won"t last so I did my reshreched andfound out that he used a lower grade of concrete but what is recommened for driveway is a 4000 grade he used a 3500 grade (lower grade) and I also asked if he had a lincse and he does not all I want is my driveway replaced I paid $3600 and he failed to do the job right I don't have that kind of money to throw away and I am a senior so he just took my money and ran (he does live around the corner from me )Desired Settlement: I just want my driveway replaced with the recommened conrete 4500 grade
