O'Connell Drilling Reviews (1)

Dear Revdex.com and homeowner,Here are the facts with all due respect:-I attempted to contact the homeowner on March 7, by phone in an effort to find a solutionHomeowner did not respond.- The tree in question has stood dead for plus yearsHomeowner inherited this dead tree last year from the
seller who was clearly negligent in not having removed the tree before it became a safety hazardThe tree is so decayed and deteriorated that it has fallen into and is supported by another treeI am sorry for the problem tree which the complainant is seeking to have taken downClearly, the previous homeowner should have had this tree taken down years ago. - I looked at the tree the first time in December and notified that we are often on a to week backlog.(In the spring we are usually on a to week backlog.) This past winter has been extremely rainy and wet, making yards so saturated that we cannot move our equipment in place without tearing up yards or our equipment sinkingThis helps explain the many winter delays.- The removal of this tree was contingent upon being able to safely access the tree with a crawler lift since the tree is too dangerous for climbersUpon re-inspection we found that even if we could get the lift to the tree ( still uncertain), it would be in such a compromised position as to endanger the tree worker's safety as he is working in the liftI tried to explain this to homeowner but he became irate and said he was "pissed off". -Homeowner insisted that "this all has something to do with insurance" I am still puzzled about the insurance issueI replied repeatedly that I was concerned about the safety and well being of my men as he continued to angrily question about insurance. -Please note that the dead tree in question poses no threat to houses but may, in fact, fall across a fence if not removed prior. -I thought about going back to look at the tree a third time to find a solution to the predicament but the homeowner is clearly too angry and frustrated. -As he became more angry, I suggested that he try to contact another tree service. Revdex.com, Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint
