We've been using O'Donnell Heating & Cooling, in our home for years Finally after he has kept our old air conditioner working we had to replace it The installation went well, the installers were wonderful, did a great job Cleaned up and the air is working wonderfullyWould highly recommend this company for your home or business [redacted] and [redacted] Amherst, New York

Response taken by phone: I went to the consumer's house for a diagnostic She wanted her radiators bled but there was no point in doing it because there was a leak in the boiler and the basement was flooded I gave her a price to replace boiler I only charged for the diagnostic I have not heard from the consumer again

We had a new furnace installed this year and the employees of O"Donnell were very courteous, and helpful to usThey were efficient and friendly did everything we asked them to do and completed the work in a timely fashionI would recommend them for a furnace replacement anytimeThank you

I have been completely satisfied with the service from O'Donnell Heating and Cooling I have purchased a furnace and air conditioner in the past and have experienced excellent service for both product The service has been handled in a very professional and friendly way I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family based on my experience over the last years

The original work was done in August As procedure we would have re-lit the pilot to insure it was working properly before we left She did not pay the balance of this bill until October 15th She called us in October to relight the pilot The boiler is years old and there could be a number of reasons it went out She was only charged our standard service call rate to cover our time and travel expense

Response taken by phone: I had maintenance done on the furnace on Oct 15, ($225) I called them back a few days later because the the house was cold It turns out the pilot was out I am disabled and cannot go down the stairs to light the pilot I was charged
another $for them to relight the pilot a few days after they did maintenance on the furnace I want the second $back

My furnace was not working I called O'Donnell heating he advised he will be out the next day and arrived around pm After looking at my furnace he advised I needed a flame ignition module and that I look like a "technical guy" and it would be easy to install He advised he had another call to go to and to meet him in hour to pay $for the module and he also charged $to come out I meet him and brought back the module, installed the module turned on the unit and nothing happened I called him and he advised I burnt the unit out and he would see me on Monday and hung up on me I texted that I would not be pay for any of his services, he immediately called me back said I was a "*** ***" and to bring the module back and he would charge me for it On Monday, I called *** heating, they diagnosed the furnace blew a fuse, and there extra one taped to the side of the unitThis issue could have been fixed and resolved on Saturday, if O'Donnell Heating knew what they were doing I would advise any one not to use this company

[First, I told the receptionist exactly what I needed to have done in order to restore my heating fully to the houseThe fact that the technician states that there was no point in doing that is ridiculous, considering another company came in two days later and did just as I had asked of O'Donnell Heating to doAs for he "flooded basement", that was an egregious exaggerationThere was water on the floor throughout the basement because my sump pump stopped working and the drain tiles around my basement were flooded, resulting in water around the perimeter of my basementThere was no leak from our furnace or boiler so that is a flat out lieThat terse and thoughtless response is just another reason this company showed me that they do not respect customers and has no interest in providing good customer service like reputable businesses should.]

When I got to the business, the year old was not working We added a start capacitor and a hard start kit for the compressor At this point the unit began to operate I informed her the unit should be replaced and she said that was not going to
happenI was not able to stay to make sure it continued to run as I have other calls to get to I told her to call me if she had any problems She called me at 9:at night I told her to call the office in the morning and I would make her the fist call She did not call until 11:am at which she had another business there charging the unit and wanted a refund I charged for the parts that were installed and necessary She never gave me the opportunity to return to reassess the unit There fore she is not entitled to a refund for the work we completed

I had an issue with this company at frist, but the owner came out to my house personally and he resolved my issues this is a great company I would recommend this company to friends too family..to everyone!! if you want to stay cool, o'donnell is the way to go...trust me!!
