We were hired by the Owner,*** ***, to collect the rent and basically collect information to assist in evicting
the Resident, *** ***At no time were we instructed nor allowed to authorize any repairs to be done at the propertyIt is our understanding that any repairs and/or communication about such repairs were and are currently being handled between the Owner and the Resident
When we were retained, the Owner indicated the Resident was taking undo advantage of the Owner as the Owner is too far away to monitor and verify the condition of the propertyThe Owner is located in ***
The Owner originally contacted us in June for information as to how to market the property for rentWe gave him some ideas and who he could contact as he was thinking of allowing the home to be used a group home of some sortThe pictures we saw in June showed a modern home in beautiful conditionWe did not physically view the property at that time
I met with the Resident on Tuesday, August 11, at the property and did a walk-thru of the propertyIt was not necessary to do an in-depth inspection of the property to see that the statements the Resident made in his compliant regarding the condition of the property to be true and correct
Today, if we took the usual pictures of the property for marketing the property, it will still show a modern home in beautiful condition
However, if a licensed home inspector did a thorough inspection of the house, a potential buyer would be frightened away by the number of code violations and unsafe installations in the property or would offer a far lower price to cover the cost to correct
In its present condition we would have to decline marketing the property for rentThe Owner would be required to do a number of corrections before we could safely market the property to a potential renter
The current Resident's description of the condition of the property as detailed in the complaint is not any exaggerationThe Resident estimated it would probably take at least $60,to be correct the code violationsI personally would estimate the cost to be closer to $100,
The Resident now understands I have no authority nor any funds in the Owner's property account to proceed with any requested repairs by the ResidentI informed the Resident that we would relay our findings to the Owner
We have asked the Owner to return our phone call regarding our inspection of the propertyIn all probability we will be terminating our relationship with the Owner

I understand she was hired to help commit fraud and evict me unbeknownst to herShe still has a responsibility to us as Tenants to insure we are safe or provide us with substitute housing until problems are corrected now that she knows the problemsI am capable of paying rent far into the future so the Owners will have funds to make repairsHer initial contact with us indicated to contact her office for repairsI did repeatedly before making my complaint but understand she had an accident and was not available to helpThe Owner of the property was less than honest with her telling her things were being worked onNow that she knows what is happening and that repairs must be done I will advise if she does not step in to protect us from danger
