Hired the company to install prefab FE finished railing onto an existing deck and stairsThey were willing to perform the work during a mild days in January, man crew worked efficiently for day to erect cedar wood posts, correct structural weakness in stairs, and on 2nd day had the rails attached and complete Quote was reasonable, materials are sound and finished work meets my expectations for safe and attractive railing system

I contacted O'Leary and Sons because our deck was beginning to sag and the boards were separatingThe deck material was Trex which we were very happy to have but it turned out that the company that built the original deck used wood that was not pressure treated for the support materialIn twelve years the wood had deteriorated and was making the deck unsafeO'Leary and Sons replaced all the support material while not only leaving all the Trex in place but without moving any of the furniture! The task was further complicated because the deck was on the second floor and was suspended over a full size swim spaAs more and more damage was uncovered they were very good about keeping us informed and offered several solutions for dealing with the damageThe crews were very professional and the site was cleaned up extremely wellWe would certainly contact them again if the need arises

My experience with O'Leary and Sons has been extremely disappointing Based on other reviews, I expected professionalism and great work However, what I have encountered has been a complete lack of professionalism I can't speak to their actual work - they haven't done any They have terrible communication, though They apparently failed to come out once, and then, when I called a week later, said that the repairs weren't part of the deckso they did nothing, and never notified me (rather than a real professional, who would actually call and ask) Then, they promised to be out another dayand for the second time, they haven't done any work, and haven't communicated at all Frankly, just a really disappointing experience If you expect professional management, look elsewhere Maybe their work is excellent, but I wouldn't know
