My experience with the Gulf Breeze store, [redacted] specifically, is one of the worst purchasing experiences I ever had in my years Had I not wanted a Hot Springs spa, I would have gone somewhere else These folks just did not seem knowledgeable about how to deliver a spa at house on pilings There were some needs to replace/upgrade volt service lines, but that decision could not get remedied due to what I perceived as lack of follon their promise to expedite delivery Not only were all conditions of the initial purchase not met as promised after a two week period, when it was agreed by both [redacted] and myself to cancel the purchase and return the check for the spa purchase, the check was held and then deposited I tried to buy a different Hot Springs model from the Pensacola store but found out they only sold Caldera spas, so I ended up back working with the Gulf Breeze store through my Property Manager to purchase a different model (Prodigy) that was quoted to me as well as the other unit (Soveign) initially When my Property Mgmt folks sent me the invoice for the Prodigy unit, the price was now $more than they quoted me in the store a few weeks prior I would not recommend doing business with this Gulf Breeze store...terrible customer experience and not trustworthy

Work commenced on our pool on Feb Kevin showed up at our house with only a crude pen and ink drawing on a piece of paper with minimal details and dimensionsWe had to provide him with dimensions for the offset of the pool, the pool drawings, & other details that we would have expected to have been provided by our pool consultant, John Work continued steadily for a couple weeksThe pool construction hit a snag on Feb when our "HOA" halted all work on the pool until they approved the plansAll necessary paperwork was provided to them & they notified us on Mar that work could continueJohn was notified on the same day & we received confirmation from him that he was moving on with the pool construction On Mar after there had been no additional work performed, we sent an email to John asking for an updated scheduleHe responded on Mar that the electricians should be there that day, & the wall and deck would be constructed on the 11th, with a week curing timeThe concrete team arrived on MarYet again, the supervisor did not have any plans or drawings to show where the wall would be placedWe had to chase down the dimensional information from the screen enclosure contractor, & provide that to Pensacola Pool's concrete teamThe wall was staked out incorrectly & instead of aligning with the side of the house, it was placed a few inches inside the corner of the houseNot only that, but it is not straight, or square, & waves in multiple placesThis was not what we had discussed with John, or the concrete teamWe sent an email to John on Mar outlining our concerns regarding the incorrect pour, but did not receive a response The concrete team did not return until Mar, & poured the deckAt that time Pensacola Pools took payment for 95% of their workAt that point I guess they figured they didn't need to rush back as they'd gotten the majority of their money Over the next months we had spurts of work completed on the pool - that incidentally, coincided with the complaints I sent to the Pensacola Pools main office on Apr and AprWe have numerous complaints regarding shoddy workmanshipFor example, the S/E corner of the deck where the concrete meets the house had an inadequate slopeWhen it rains, water was pooling in that location against the side of the house, causing potential future water damage issuesThat was later "fixed," but the water is still not running off into a drain, it now pools in front of the enclosure door Another example of shoddy workmanship is that our sprinkler systems were not capped off correctlyWater was coming out under the concrete deckAgain, after numerous complaints, the lines were cappedWe have since noticed that when we turn the sprinklers on water comes up through another point in the concrete slabWe have decided this issue has gone on too long with Pensacola Pools & are having to spend our own money to hire a landscape contractor to do the line capping correctly Yet another example of shoddy workmanship is the retaining wallIt is not straight, or squareThe screen enclosure workman had to make specialty cuts on the doors as they weren't squareNot only is the whole wall off-square, but the walls are not smoothInstead of one form being used to pour the concrete, they used That has left the walls wavy, and no amount of grinding them down was able to fix that problem In addition, the installation team lost our pump control cable, so for months, we lived with a filthy disgusting mosquito trap in our back yardOur solar company could not test their equipment & threatened to charge us additional money to come back to ensure all their equipment worked And now, to add salt into our wounds, John is telling us that the final amount they told us we paid when they signed over the pool to us on May was incorrect They cashed our final payment, that even has "final payment" written on it, and John tells us his supervisor had given us a discount that didn't belong to us, so we owe another $Really? What else are you going to mess up? DO NOT go with Pensacola Pools Save yourself the time and headache

Work continued steadily for a couple weeksThe pool construction hit a snag on Feb when our "HOA" halted all work on the pool until they approved the plansAll necessary paperwork was provided to them & they notified us on Mar that work could continueJohn was notified on the same day & we received confirmation from him that he was moving on with the pool construction
On Mar after there had been no additional work performed, we sent an email to John asking for an updated scheduleHe responded on Mar that the electricians should be there that day, & the wall and deck would be constructed on the 11th, with a week curing timeThe concrete team arrived on MarYet again, the supervisor did not have any plans or drawings to show where the wall would be placedWe had to chase down the dimensional information from the screen enclosure contractor, & provide that to Pensacola Pool's concrete teamThe wall was staked out incorrectly & instead of aligning with the side of the house, it was placed a few inches inside the corner of the houseNot only that, but it is not straight, or square, & waves in multiple placesThis was not what we had discussed with John, or the concrete teamWe sent an email to John on Mar outlining our concerns regarding the incorrect pour, but did not receive a response
The concrete team did not return until Mar, & poured the deckAt that time Pensacola Pools took payment for 95% of their workAt that point I guess they figured they didn't need to rush back as they'd gotten the majority of their money
Over the next months we had spurts of work completed on the pool - that incidentally, coincided with the complaints I sent to the Pensacola Pools main office on Apr and AprWe have numerous complaints regarding shoddy workmanshipFor example, the S/E corner of the deck where the concrete meets the house had an inadequate slopeWhen it rains, water was pooling in that location against the side of the house, causing potential future water damage issuesThat was later "fixed," but the water is still not running off into a drain, it now pools in front of the enclosure door
Another example of shoddy workmanship is that our sprinkler systems were not capped off correctlyWater was coming out under the concrete deckAgain, after numerous complaints, the lines were cappedWe have since noticed that when we turn the sprinklers on water comes up through another point in the concrete slabWe have decided this issue has gone on too long with Pensacola Pools & are having to spend our own money to hire a landscape contractor to do the line capping correctly
Yet another example of shoddy workmanship is the retaining wallIt is not straight, or squareThe screen enclosure workman had to make specialty cuts on the doors as they weren't squareNot only is the whole wall off-square, but the walls are not smoothInstead of one form being used to pour the concrete, they used That has left the walls wavy, and no amount of grinding them down was able to fix that problem
In addition, the installation team lost our pump control cable, so for months, we lived with a filthy disgusting mosquito trap in our back yardOur solar company could not test their equipment & threatened to charge us additional money to come back to ensure all their equipment worked
And now, to add salt into our wounds, John is telling us that the final amount they told us we paid when they signed over the pool to us on May was incorrect They cashed our final payment, that even has "final payment" written on it, and John tells us his supervisor had given us a discount that didn't belong to us, so we owe another $Really?
