This is in responds to a complaint received about a delivery issue with an order from my company.We were closed from good Friday 3/29/- 4/02/18. We had it posted on our store that we were closed , as well as our voice mail We did say to leave a message and we will return
calls as soon as possible .Although we were closed, we were still checking emails and voices mail and returning messages.On Tuesday Morning I received a facebook notification of a new public message as followsO'Ryans does not answer their phones.I replied Yes Oryans answers their phones , we even return messages when they are leftwhat can I help you withCustomer reply No you do not answer your phoneOutdated message and NO opportunity to leave a messageTry being truthful.Then I receive a private message on facebook as follows Well, I have called two days in a row nowYour recording says you are off for Easter until yesterdaySame message today and it is TuesdayWhat kind of business is this? I ordered an Easter basket for my grandson who lives in Pittsburgh PA and you had it delivered to NebraskaAmazing with a screw up like this you can not answer your phoneYou have exactly hours to respond or I will go to the Attorney General's office in Wisconsin.So at this point I search for her order and track the infoYes it does show it in NE.I called the phone number on the order (267) ***-***This is not this customers phone number.So I reply to the private facebook messageWe were off through yesterday and just walked in the door at 9:this morningI have not had time to change the phone messageIf you would have left a message even yesterday we would have called you backI checked on your orderwe shipped towhy it ended up in Nebraska is beyond me.I just credit your payal card back as we do not have the candy to reship the Easter basket.Create AppointmentI am sorry that your grandson's basket got lost and I am unable to fix it.So then customer posts this on public facebookStill sending this to Revdex.com and to Attorney GeneralWill leave negative feedback on every social mediaYou won’t even talk to your customer? Think a refund for your error makes it go away? NotYou are deplorable.My reply*** I am very sorry I have been on and off the phone since walking in this morningIf you would have left a message I would have called you backI am not or was not trying to avoid youI sent your Easter basket to the address you providedSomehow it was mis routed to another stateI have no control over thatI refunded your money as we are out of Easter candy to make you up a new basketFor that I apologize.Wednesday Morning I get this emailYour response on FB was, once again, untruthful I contacted the NE post office yesterday and you did NOT ship the package associated with the tracking number you provided me to Pittsburgh PA You shipped it to NE You may call the post office yourself and ask for an image of the shipping document You do not have Reese's candy to reship the Easter basket? If you are a candy shop as you advertise and do not have Reese's candy, I find that once again hard to believe and untruthful Why didn't you offer to make another basket? That would have been something that would have exhibited your desire to satisfy your customer It is difficult to me to understand how you can be in business when customer service is not paramount and you are untruthful in your responsesI learned a valuable lesson from you Never order from a business which you have not done business before You should be ashamed or yourselvesYou are able to fix it You just do not want to I am sorry I ordered anything from you.I did accidently ship this customers basket to the wrong place Which I was unaware of As stated to customer I couldn’t replace the Reese’s Easter Basket as it was all seasonal candy which we were out of I gave customer a refund right away with my sincere apologiesSadly sometimes I do make mistakes Yes we are a candy store, however we specialize in old time candy So now I do not carry the everyday candy you can find in every store : Reese’s , Milk Way, Hershey , Snickers, Butterfinger etc, unless it is a holiday version and once we are sold out they are gone for another yearSo although customers says it is untruthful, it is not We have been in business for many years and have always taken care of our customers to the best of our abilitySometimes mistakes happen and we are normally able to take care of them and satisfy our customers, sadly sometime we just can’t satisfy them at all.Thanks *** O'Ryans [email protected]
