Complaint # [redacted] November 6, To whom it may concern: I am aware of the matter that Mr [redacted] is referringHowever, I feel that I must respond to his complaintThis is the first complaint that our shop has ever receivedWe have worked with this client several ***es to improve the framing of his boxing memorabiliaMost of these pieces have been either boxing shorts or photosThey were all poorly framed by another company utilizing non-archival techniques and inferior productsThe photo was received into the shop already enclosed in a frameTherefore, we could not inspect it for damageMr [redacted] wanted us to remove it so he could get it authenticatedWe took it out and called him to pick it upAny damage to the photo was already thereWe charged him $to remove the photoHe did not immediately report the damage to me when he picked up the photoHe called the shop shortly thereafterI told Mr [redacted] that we could not be held responsible for the previous damageWe have spent a great deal of ***e with this client instructing him about proper framing techniques and assisting him to find lower cost framing options for his memorabiliaFor these services, we have not charged the client anything In the future, I told Mr [redacted] that we would need to visibly inspect all items before accepting themI regret that Mr [redacted] was not satisfied with our servicesWe work hard to ensure that our clients are completely satisfied with our work as evidenced by our numerous positive reviews and high customer retentionWe are not perfect but we will own up to our mistakesUnfortunately, we did not damage the photograph and will not be held responsible Please contact me at ###-###-#### if you have any additional questions Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:The business should be held accountable asI pointed out the crease in the photo before leaving their shopIt does not matter what they charged me to take the photoout of the frameThe owner is very aware that these are expensive( and irreplaceable)items I am bringing inIt is very hard to believe that there shop hasn't had any complaints.They are a frame shop constantly working with items brought in by the public
