The notice was addressed to OakBend... Medical Group instead of OakBend Medical Center. This created a delay in the notices being routed to the appropriate department. Customer's Statement of the Problem: Response -- Repetitive services must be billed on a monthly basis. The customer received repetitive services over a seven month period. The services for each month are separated by invoice number, i.e. 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. The $30.07 final bill that the customer refers to is related to his last month's services or invoice number [redacted] The *** invoice is his last or final invoice, if you will, as it represents his last month of service. It does not, however, reflect a cumulative list of charges or open balances. Disputed Amount: Response -- The disputed amount of $94.44 on the statement dated May 20, 2014 is for invoice 0006. That balance does remain open in our system. The open balance of $94.44 has no effect on the customer's credit ratings. Desired Settlement: Response -- I spoke to the customer this morning regarding his complaint. He told me that our discussion clarified the statement discrepancy and the issue has been resolved to his satisfaction. If you need additional information, please let me know.
