Review: To the owners of The Oak Country Peddler,I quote your website, our reward is the satisfaction that makes our customers recommend us to their family and friends and the fact that they come back to us time and again for all their furniture needs. As business owners you both need a class on customer service, speaking to a customer, and where to draw the time of personal and business. Calling a customer and chewing them out because they made your wife cry is beyond unprofessional!You do not treat any kind of customer that way, especially a returning customer who has paid you over $6000! I am appalled of the screaming on the phone by both of you. All I asked for in the manner was for what the sales representative promised to be honoured. She said my table would be delivered in less than 8 weeks no problem. The table was paid for in full, no questions asked. When over 8 weeks arrived I called concerned because I had a family function and needed the table. Again more promises were made by the sales rep of using the floor model for my party which was they not an option by the owners. Next the female owner called very hot and upset because she did not want to deal with me kept saying its not her problem, they did nothing wrong. I could buy the floor model at full price as is, no discounts. I felt that was no right, since she offered that same table to me over 8 weeks ago at a 20% plus 15% on top of that. After 20 minutes back and forth we settled at 10% off.Then later in the evening, the male owner called chewing them out because they made your wife cry. After he proceeded to tell me the floor model had a scratch. I told him I did not want it and he then said too based he would just cancel the entire order. No part in any of the conversation did I EVER ask to cancel. Now, it is 11 weeks later and I finally get the call my table is in but what a mess and how unprofessional. I only asked to be treated with respect and with good quality customer service! There has been no compensation to me, the customer, but these poor business owners were sure eager to use my money, $3000, for 11 weeks!Desired Settlement: Some kind of compensation for the poor business
