The applicant and co-signer were not approved because they didn't provide proof of incomeOn the signed application the co-signer stated that he made $96,a year but when I asked him what his tax returns shows he stated he made around $35,which is a red flag when it's different from his applicationIf they could verify their income with tax returns I would reconsider their application

The applicant and co-signer were not approved because they didn't provide proof of income. On the signed application the co-signer stated that he made $96,000 a year but when I asked him what his 2015 tax returns shows he stated he made around $35,000 which is a red flag when it's different from his application. If they could verify their income with 2015 tax returns I would reconsider their application

As previously stated , my concern is the questions asked. I do not need considered because our income was good enough to get into a house. So I do not need their apartment. This was clearly discrimination because my child has Down Syndrome. I am not satisfied at all with this response and something needs to be done. He had no right to ask why my son receives SSI or who babysits him and where the baby sitter lived. This man was hateful and nosey. He should not get away with this. I'm keeping in contact with HUD about this issue as well.

As stated when I made this report, I have witnesses. He also asked who babysat my son and where the baby sitter lived. I have filed a complaint with HUD as well. I do not appreciate the lies from this business. Admitting that he was wrong would have been a better choice, we are taking legal action. My step father [redacted] is a witness , among others who were present during both of our phone calls with the gentleman. He asked why my son receives SSI and I told him because he has Down syndrome. It was not his business and it is ILLEGAL. I applied at another apartment complex and also for a house and was no asked any of these ridiculous questions. This man was rude and nosey. He had no right to ask any questions about my son. I feel discriminated against because my son is special needs and that is exactly what this looks like. There is no need to lie because as I said I have witnesses. Legal action WILL BE taken.
