In response to Miss [redacted] ’s bed bug issue, we have responded in a timely manner When Miss [redacted] s moved in on May 19, there were no signs or evidence of bed bugs in her apartment as per her Bed Bug Addendum which is attached Below is a list of dates inspections and service performed by World Wide Pest control for Miss [redacted] ’s apartment 9/12/Inspected for bed bugs found live activity in bedroom 9/17/Treated for bed bugs and found live activity on kids bunk beds & sofa 10/01/Retreated unit no live activity found 10/15/Retreated unit live bed bug found 10/24/retreated unit no live activity found 11/4/inspected unit found live activity 11/7/retreated unit 11/26/retreated unit no live activity found In an effort to help resolve Miss [redacted] ’s problem I called yesterday 12/01/and asked if she had seen any more bed bugs She said “I am not longer going to look or tell you anything, I am done with this” I told her that we would re-inspect the apartment but that we did need her cooperation and to please let me know if she had any further problems with bed bugs so we could address I have explained to Miss [redacted] s that I cannot transfer her to another apartment until after this issue has been resolved and there are no longer sings of bed bugs We have not refused to perform service request needed for Miss [redacted] s On September we repaired her dishwasher and replaced kitchen light bulb On November19, we resurface her tub that was peeling On November 25, we replaced a piece of missing trim under her stove and secured her a/c intake vent which was loose On December 1, we responded to a service request Miss [redacted] s submitted saying there was mold on her bath tub wall Upon inspection found it is not mold merely mildew which can be avoided by cleaning regularly We have cleaned her tub and will be re-grouting a few small areas This morning Miss [redacted] s came into the office turned in her apartment keys and told me she is breaking her lease I told Miss [redacted] s that I would like to keep her here as a resident and to please let us re-inspect her apartment so we could accommodate her transfer I explained to her that she will be charged for a day notice and any expenses incurred to release her apartment [redacted] Oak Hills Village Apartments ###-###-#### Office ###-###-#### Fax
