Hi l like to say that me and my husband has been here at Oak hallow for month and I must say that the maintenance guys has been on time every timeWhen I send a complaint in they show up fast

I payed rent st 6pm on the fifthThe office was closed so I put my payment in the drop box as I always doI receive a phone call two days later saying my form of payment wouldn't be acceptedI asked why and she said it's late if it's not in the office before they leaveI said since when? I've lived there for three years and I've always done thatI asked if I'm going to get late fees and the girl said yesThe next day I went to the bank got a cashiers check an payed for the check an dropped it off in the officeI now check my bank account and I'm negative 900$They cashed my personal check when they said they couldn't accept it along with a cashiersI've had work orders in for over months now an it's still not fixedThis place is a joke

On today about 1:pm, I went into my apartment's office to receive my *** packages I knew I had several packages because my office informed me that the materials I requested was sent to me weeks ago and I should have them by now MrsJ***, the assistant manager, went to the back to retrieve them Moments later, she came out with one package in her hands On my way to my apartment I met the *** delivery man who informed me that I had several packages in the office I informed him that I only received one package He stated he has been dropping them off on a regular basis and noticed they are still in the package room We went back to the office together as he stated he will check for me We walked into the office and he went to the back and returned with six (6) packages in his hand I was furious, as I work with time sensitive information

We were overcharged for two years on our water bill. Our privacy was compromised.They refused to honor our deposit we paid.Fraud collections caseUpon receiving our first water bill we noticed we were being overcharged when confronted about it they blamed a third party yet we were still overcharged for the duration of our lease. They also gave out our personal information to a third party which compromised our safety.They are now trying to collect a fraudulent move out debt because they refuse to honor our deposit.This place has scammed us out of hard earned money since we signed the lease and even now since we moved out.Desired Settlementwe were overcharged $20 and better every month for 2 years we seek $480.00 which equals $20 a month for 2 years. We want them to honor our deposit and pay us our balance and stop their fraudulent collection case or we'll have our day in court Business Response 1. With reference to being over charged for the water bill; billing is completed by processing actual meter reads monthly via satellite completed by our billing company [redacted]. [redacted] has been checked and there was no work order submitted for a bucket test or anything else that would have indicated that the resident had questions or concerns about the water billing. 2. Privacy Compromised?The only thing that I recall was when the [redacted] Police Department arrived and said that they received a phone call from an anonymous caller. The caller indicated that they police department needed to do a wellness check at [redacted] on a newborn baby that possibly had not received proper medical attention after birth. Officer [redacted] arrived at the leasing office and spoke with the Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager; both whom were not aware of a new born baby at the said address. The managers were only able to confirm the resident's names and addresses that were on file for that address; but nothing further as they were not aware of any changes within the household. 3. A non-refundable fee to Sure Deposit was paid at move in and not a security deposit. The Sure Deposit fee is a nonrefundable fee that covered $500 worth of damages or money owed to the Property after move out if the resident does not pay the Property; this would have covered the balance due to Oak Hollow of $431.90 for move out charges. Once the check is submitted to Oak Hollow, the account is then turned over to [redacted] (a collection agency) to collect the money from the former resident. Again, this was not a security deposit, but a non refundable fee. 4. Several attempts were made by the Assistant Property Manager to reach the former resident's after move out. Several notices were sent via mail to the address the resident's provided at move out (a different address noted within this claim), email was sent to the resident's, and several phone calls were made, with voice messages left. After several attempts to collect the debt were unsuccessful, the account was submitted to Sure Deposit for payment.
