Review: I purchased a vehicle back in February of this year (2015) since my purchase I have had nonstop issues with this vehicle. Within the first month the calipers sized up and destroyed the rotors and brake pads, along with there was mold growing in the trunk. I contacted Chip from Transparent Auto and he had his mechanic at [redacted] in McDonald PA fix the issues. From there the electronics in the vehicle started to go hay wire (my dash would just show different symbols rather than words and the interior lights stopped working), the muffler on the vehicle was starting to fall off, and the barings in the front of the car were bad. I again contacted Chip who stated that the muffler was not covered under the warranty but the barings were and that [redacted] could fix all of these issues for me. I got in contact with [redacted] and they put a new muffler on the car and stated they fixed the Barings. I took the car back two times because my ABS, service vehicle, and traction control lights had come on after they fixed the Barings. Each time they stated the issue was resolved but the lights remained on and the tires continued to make noise. The inspection on this vehicle was only good until September 2015 so on October 1, 2015 I took the vehicle to my mechanic to get inspected. And he informed me that the car was not inspect able due to the following reasons:1.The Barings where shot2.The exhaust system was bubble gum welded and leaking exhaust3.The exhaust system was not made for this vehicle and was a 1970 glass pack (the car is a 2004)4.The whole back passenger rocker panel is so rusted through there are holes and the car almost broke when it was put on the lift to be inspected. There is no way this much damage was done in 1 year. This vehicle should have never passed inspection in 2014 and it should have never been sold. I contacted Chip from Transparent Auto about this and he avoided all of my phone calls and once I did got a hold of him, he stated that there was nothing he could do other than trade the car in for a another one, but the trade in value would not be close to what I still owe on the vehicle. I know of 3 other people who have purchased vehicles from this dealer all of whom have issues. One of these cars is a new car and his mechanic informed him that his vehicle had water damage and was most certainly a flood car. With the rust on the underside of my vehicle, the mold in the trunk, and the electrical problems I can safely say my vehicle fits the description of a flood car as well.Desired Settlement: I can not and will not pay for a vehicle that puts myself, my family, as well as others in danger. I would like them to take the car back. I do not want this put on my credit as a repo. They can keep the money I have paid on the vehicle. I just do not want punished because they take advantage of others. I would also like them to stop selling vehicles that are not safe as well as being falsely inspected. It is illegal to "slap" inspection stickers on vehicle in the state of PA.
