Review: After receiving Cheese from this co. in December as a gift I decided to order cheese from them directly. I ordered 3 2 lb. wheels. It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. I rec'd the cheese and proceeded to slice all 3 wheels only to find that it was hard as a rock and had no flavor whatsoever. Cutting this cheese you needed a saw - even at room temperature. I contacted this company itself and [redacted]. The company e-mailed me all sorts of excuses that wedges, slices, and wheels are all different. Something happened in shipping, etc. and what all they could think off. They informed me all sales were final. They said the batch I got the cheese from they had no problems. That was fine but MY CHEESE HAS A PROBLEM. They will not negotiate any resolutions at all. They have my money and I have 3 wheels of cheese that are absolutely gross. You can not eat this cheese. I ordered this cheese in good faith and they got my money and I got absolutely nothing. The customer service in this company in standing behind their products is POOR. I have all correspondence and the product itself.Desired Settlement: Since they will not come to a resolution or stand behind their products - I would prefer to have my money back. I simply do not trust this situation. I think since they got my money that is it.

We have been corresponding with this customer since she made her initial complaint and are very sorry she is unsatisfied with her cheese. We have double-checked each batch of cheese that she ordered from and all are exactly as we expect them to be. We sell these cheeses in our store, at farmer's markets and ship all across the USA and have not received any complaints. If we had any reason to believe something was wrong on our end, we of course would try to make amends in some way. We do take complaints very seriously, however our policy is all sales are final. Shipping is at the customer's risk as stated on our website.

I am rejecting this response because: I paid for good cheese and this cheese is not edible cheese. I HAVE THIS CHEESE and can have another party verify if necessary. As it stands now I say the cheese is not edible and they say it is - yet I can proove it is not. This is not good company customer relations. There have been no negotiations or options made on their part for a remedy. So what is fair about this. They have my money and I have BAD cheese.

Business state" There could be no way that if we made a bad batch of cheese that we would only receive one complaint. If the batch was bad we would be getting way more calls about it. The Cumin was younger in that batch this means, the cheese would be softer not harder. We believe we have acted in good faith in making the cheese the way we did and our policy is no refunds. "

I am rejecting this response because: It is not relative whether there are other complaints or not. What is relative is that the cheese I HAVE is not edible. They would not know the condition of the cheese they shipped because they never asked for it or even a sample. I still have the cheese in the refrigerator and it is still not a edible cheese. For example, if one specific car is bad does not make all the rest bad. This theory just does not make any sense. They keep saying all sales are final but my response is sell a acceptable product. I did not intend to purchase garbage cheese. I can supply witnesses to show that this cheese is bad and is not the same cheese that I received as a gift from this company in December of 2015.
