The member listed below moved into this residence on July 1st. We did not receive any returned mailed until the 11th of November. We sent out an application, an electric statement each month around the 1st and disconnect notices around the 15th of September and
October. We have NO record that the member ever called inquiring about his bill. Sherry A would not have hung up on him nor would anyone else in our office. The cooperative made two trips to residence to disconnect and reconnect power. We have written off the reconnection fee for [redacted] and will be contacting them to let them know.  As [redacted] mentioned in their complaint as well NO mail was returned to Oakdale Electric.  The two trips to location were to disconnect the power and then to restore the power.  Again no one in our office would have hung up on member and there is no record of any calls notifying us that they had not received bills. I will direct member to our website where they can sign up for Bill4U and receive bills electronically and PAY them.[redacted]Finance ManagerOakdale Electric CooperativePhone:  608 372-4131 ext 8827Email:  [email protected]

Review: We called several times to get a bill, only to get hung up on multiple times by sherry a. In billing our electric was shut off in 10/27/15. We called again and talked to sherry a. She said there was a bill sent out. It has been getting sent to wrong address. She admit it was their fault whoever put it in the system. We told her several times we called asking for a bill. We told her we were not at fault we tried to get a bill and they had wrong house # in the system. It was sent to lot #3 not #11 that we live in. She refused to work with us and would not waive the 200.00 reconnection fee. Oakdale electric company is at fault here and we had to pay out all the extra money to reconnect it. They should have to waive the fee to reconnect since it was their issue in billing. [redacted] a. In billing was rude and unprofessional. They refused to let us speak with a supervisor. She hung up on us when we tried fixing issues several other times. We would like our reconnection fee reimbursed since the company is at fault, not us. They knew which place to disconnect but not where to send the bill. Ridiculous.Desired Settlement: We would like the 200.00 reconnection reimbursed because it is company error on bill, not ours.
