Dear MrDennis-EVERY WORD of our response to [redacted] 's complaint is truthful and based on the factsI believe our response was very comprehensive and offered plausible explanations for the damagePlease keep in mind that [redacted] 's allegation against our company was made 1/months after we cleaned his gutters AND after some of the worst storms on recordThis is a fact and not an opinionI'm sure the reason he was calling us back to clean his gutters again is because they were full of debris from the aforementioned stormsThis is not the fall and leaves are generally not falling, other than wind/storm related incidentsDo we know for certain what caused the damage? Absolutely notHowever, no scenario exists that we would walk on his ridge vents [redacted] 's claim is based strictly on conjecture and not supported by any facts [redacted] 's comment that we are not deserving of the A+ rating we have EARNED in completing over 50,projects is disturbingThe overwhelming majority of our business is REPEAT business from thousands of satisfied customersWe can agree to disagree about the cause of his bent ridge ventHowever, our stellar reputation should not be in disputeEveryone in our company conducts themselves with honesty and integrityDo problems occur? Of courseIf there is a problem or we damage someone's property, we notify the customer and take care of the issue, regardless of the costDoing the right thing is not complicated; it's been our hallmark for yearsHowever, there are times when we get blamed for things we didn't do; we hope the voice of reason prevails in those instances That being said, we would be willing to refund [redacted] 's entire $for the service as a goodwill gesture in the hopes of an amicable resolution to his complaint Respectfully, Ron FriedlanderPresident,Power Wash Plus, Inc

Re: [redacted], ID # [redacted]Dear [redacted],This letter is in response to the above referenced complaint. [redacted] contacted our company on Sunday, March 6", requesting gutter cleaning, as well as other services. We scheduled [redacted]'s gutter cleaning for Tuesday, March 15th. The...

gutter cleaning was performed in a timely and professional manner on March 15" without issue. The cost was $100.00. [redacted] has a window that looks out over his roof that he uses to determine when his gutters are full and in need of cleaning. He told me this during our telephone conversation on June 1". I’m reasonably certain that [redacted] looked out of his window to inspect our work before submitting payment to us approximately a week after completion. [redacted] lives in a heavily wooded area (please see the attached e-mail) with lots of falling leaves, branches, etc. This is the reason that [redacted] contacted us 2 1/2 months later to clean his gutters again. It was this e-mail, on Saturday, May 28", 2016, that [redacted] accused us of damaging his metal ridge vent from the gutter cleaning service 2 1/2 months earlier. In our subsequent phone conversation and in his complaint, Mr. suggested that we stepped on his ridge vent to climb to the next level of roofing. [redacted]'s accusation is not consistent with the damage in his photo (please see attached photo). There is no logical reason for our technicians to ever step on a ridge vent. A ridge vent is located at the apex of the roof, the furthest point from the gutters. We have completed several thousand gutter cleanings using the same experienced technicians for years. This is the first time we have ever been accused of damaging a ridge vent. There is absolutely no reason for us to walk on a ridge vent, none at all. I have spoken to the technicians that have performed the work and they reiterated that there would be no reason to ever walk on a ridge vent our crews perform the same work, day in and day out. We have a system to work efficiently roofs are accessed by ladder only; there are multiple ladders used to access different elevations as needed. What I am certain of, is that the month of May brought the most consecutive rainfall in DC history, together with some of the worst storms. Please see the article front the Washington Post. The May 2nd storm was one of the worst on record and a affect [redacted]'s area. I do not live too far from [redacted] and I suffered nearly $25,000 worth of damage to my own home from the May 2nd storm. This was categorized as a catastrophic event by many major insurance companies. This is a matter of record. It is also a matter of record that [redacted] lives on a very heavily wooded lot, as I do. I know exactly what happens during heavy storms; lots of falling debris and branches. Mr. K* clearly stated in his e-mail that they had this same section of the roof and ridge vent previously “FixED". Received: Jun 29 2013 UB:59pm08/28/2013 5:59PM FAX 703257.2224 P[]WER WÅ SH PL U$ ? 3, 13What caused that damage? The fact is that [redacted] is attempting to assign blame to our | company for damage that we did not cause. In his complaint, [redacted] says the damage is “VERY” noticeable, yet he did not see it after we completed the work. It was not until he | needed gutter cleaning again from all of the storms, 2 % months later, that he reported damage. [redacted] also suggested in his complaint, that our technicians should have reported damage to his ridge vent. We are there to clean out gutters, not inspect roofs. Contrary to [redacted]'s statements, I did offer to come out to look at o ridge vent during our June 1” telephone conversation, but [redacted] declined my offer when we would not : accept responsibility for damage based on his assertions,I believe [redacted] is a decent, honest man. However, I believe 100% that he has drawn the wrong conclusion regarding damage to his ridge vent. My attempt to reason with [redacted] was unsuccessful, leading us to this unfortunate situation. We always try to resolve any customer concerns in a timely and amicable manner. We hope : our A+ Rating with the Revdex.com in completing more than 50,000 projects over the last 25 years helps support this claim. Should you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me at your convenience at [redacted] or by email [email protected].

Dear Mr. Dennis-EVERY WORD of our response to [redacted]'s complaint is truthful and based on the facts. I believe our response was very comprehensive and offered plausible explanations for the damage. Please keep in mind that [redacted]'s allegation against our company was made 2 1/2 months after we cleaned his gutters AND after some of the worst storms on record. This is a fact and not an opinion. I'm sure the reason he was calling us back to clean his gutters again is because they were full of debris from the aforementioned storms. This is not the fall and leaves are generally not falling, other than wind/storm related incidents. Do we know for certain what caused the damage? Absolutely not. However, no scenario exists that we would walk on his ridge vents. [redacted]'s claim is based strictly on conjecture and not supported by any facts. [redacted]'s comment that we are not deserving of the A+ rating we have EARNED in completing over 50,000 projects is disturbing. The overwhelming majority of our business is REPEAT business from thousands of satisfied customers. We can agree to disagree about the cause of his bent ridge vent. However, our stellar reputation should not be in dispute. Everyone in our company conducts themselves with honesty and integrity. Do problems occur? Of course. If there is a problem or we damage someone's property, we notify the customer and take care of the issue, regardless of the cost. Doing the right thing is not complicated; it's been our hallmark for 25 years. However, there are times when we get blamed for things we didn't do; we hope the voice of reason prevails in those instances.  That being said, we would be willing to refund [redacted]'s entire $100 for the service as a goodwill gesture in the hopes of an amicable resolution to his complaint.  Respectfully, Ron FriedlanderPresident,Power Wash Plus, Inc.
