We discussed many options during the initial visit at [redacted] ***'s residence & I had explained the entire process of how long the permit process takes and that it will cause additional delays in the installation time framesI had explained that we can get the structure installed in 4-weeks with out the permit and if a permit is filed that it could take additional time based on how busy the Village and that we can not start any work until the permit is granted and issued (estimated 4-weeks to get the permit) This is a discussion I have with many home owner's and is a routine conversation in all of my presentationsThe email that states time frames (attached) answers a questions that the [redacted] askedI was asked: Did you ask how much time it requires to process the permit? If we go ahead without the permit, how many weeks it take to install the pergola?Either way, I would like to finalize the order tomorrow so please call meRegards, ***My reply was:I did not ask but usually take 4-weeks Our schedule is about 4-weeks outThat is the email about the time frame (see attached file) The other discussion we had about the time frames & Permit vsNo permit was during my initial visit to [redacted] ***'s houseWe are sorry if this process is not moving faster but when permits are filed for all time frames are generally provided after the permits are issued from the Building Departments, we do not control how the Building department operates and how fast permits are issuedWe did file for the permit as stated in our previous reply to this complaint.I have requested the filing receipt from the Village and I am waiting to hear back from them (once I have that information we will be glad to provide it)

We have been in full contact with the homeowner in regards to this matter. I have spoken to him in person, on the phone and via emails (which I have records of all emails) The emails which start on 4/**/and there has been at least 2-emails per month ending on 6/*/and
after that he had spoken with Steve another 2-times via phone conversation When I had met with *** *** I discussed with him the project and if he wanted to file for permits since they are required by the Village of Northport (but ultimately is up to the home owner to follow code) I discussed the permit process with the home owner I had specifically stated that the architects usually take anywhere up to weeks to draw up plans and then mail them out to me. On May *** the homeowner had come into the office to leave a deposit and sign the contract for the pergola Approximately week later I had received the signed and notarized building application & survey in the mail from the homeownerOn or about 5/**/I had inquired with my supplier and the engineer on how the plans were going and when I should expect them since I had place the order about weeks prior (which is the expected time for the plans to be completed and I have the emails I sent about this as well). The engineer said that he did not receive the project from my supplier (who places the order for the plans) and that he would start working on them as soon as my supplier sends in the requestOn or about 5/**/I had received the preliminary plans for approval (which I had notified the *** ***), I reviewed the plans and approved them to get signed and stamped by the architect / engineer (which can take 1-weeks to get completed). On June *** I had responded to *** ***'s email for an update and I responded that I did not have the plans in hand as of that date and once I get them I will update him with any information that I have. The following week he called and had spoken with Steve about this matter and I informed Steve that we should have the plans shortly and we will contact *** *** once we are ready to file. We received the plans on or about 6/**/via ***I believe that Steve had spoken to *** *** that Friday 6/**/informing him that we have received the plans and that we were gong to file no later than Tuesday 6/**/16. Unfortunately I was not able to get to the Village until Wednesday 6/**/(because of a personal matter that had come up) to file the plans which was done around 1:30pm I plan on following up with the Village in regards to this project by Friday 6/**/16 as I do this for all of my client that file for permits

We are very sorry that this issue was not handled back in October. To our knowledge this issue was taken care of; the paperwork was misfiled with the completed sheds. We are going to be ordering the material to perform the repairs. We will be out within the next days to do the
work

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Dear Sir/madamI still did not receive any phone call from Steve or Bayan that they have the signed drawings and did file for permit to Village. No email either. Plus I do not agree to followings:1) Bryan never told me that it takes three weeks to get signed drawings, I would like to see the email that states that.. I specifically asked for the timeline - with or without filing the permit before signing the contract in my email dated April [redacted] and his reply was " usually 4-6 weeks with the permit and 4-5 week without. He never once said that plans will take additional three weeks..2) On May [redacted], I emailed him and asked  about the update and he told me "I just got the preliminary plans from the engineer, will review them today  and approve them to be sealed.  The plans will get mailed  out Tuesday and I should have them by Wednesday /  Thursday.  I will notify you once I have them in hand and  am ready to file." , On June [redacted] I asked for the update via email and he replied on June [redacted] "I have not yet received the plans, once I have more info I will update you".. no update since.. no email or phone call from Bryan.. So I tried contacting Steve on June [redacted], he told me that he will call me on Saturday with an answer, did not call.. so I followed up on Monday.. he told me that Plans are mailed and they will have it by Wednesday (6/**) or Thursday (6/**) and will call me back.. but he did not.. So I called on Friday  (6/**) and left a message expressing my disappointment and their lack of professionalism  and I have no choice but to do something.. After no reply, I filed a complaint on 6/**.. Bottom-line it is significantly delayed (even if it takes into the account of three weeks to get the plans till the date they filed it) and they never apologized once nor explained the reason of delay. I would like to see the receipt when they filed the Permit.I need to speak to someone at Revdex.com over the phone if possible. Kind Regards, [redacted]

We discussed many options during the initial visit at [redacted]'s residence & I had explained the entire process of how long the permit process takes and that it will cause additional delays in the normal installation time frames. I had explained that we can get the structure installed in 4-5 weeks with out the permit and if a permit is filed that it could take additional time based on how busy the Village and that we can not start any work until the permit is granted and issued (estimated 4-6 weeks to get the permit)   This is a discussion I have with many home owner's and is a routine conversation in all of my presentations. The email that states time frames (attached) answers a questions that the [redacted] asked. I was asked: Did you ask how much time it requires to process the permit? If we go ahead without the permit, how many weeks it take to install the pergola?Either way, I would like to finalize the order tomorrow so please call me. Regards, [redacted]My reply was:I did not ask but usually take 4-6 weeks.  Our schedule is about 4-5 weeks outThat is the email about the time frame (see attached file).  The other discussion we had about the time frames & Permit vs. No permit was during my initial visit to [redacted]'s house. We are sorry if this process is not moving faster but when permits are filed for all time frames are generally provided after the permits are issued from the Building Departments, we do not control how the Building department operates and how fast permits are issued. We did file for the permit as stated in our previous reply to this complaint.I have requested the filing receipt from the Village and I am waiting to hear back from them (once I have that information we will be glad to provide it)
