Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The response from [redacted] at Oakley Relocation is just more of the dismissive nonsense that led me to make the Revdex.com claim in the first place (and led us to repeatedly contact Oakley Relocation and the NAVL/SIRVA folks in Fort Wayne, IN over the past months)Their basic response is and has always been that even though they lost, broke, and damaged our things, that they were only going to cover a little of it based on their opaque standards (which are highly arbitrary and of course favor them over the customer) My wife and I have moved many times in our lives and we have NEVER had this much trouble with the quality of the move itself and in the settling of reasonable claims based on loss and damage that was unequivocally the fault of the packers, movers, and shippers The Oakley/NAVL team were great at saying all the right things about their tremendous skill, experience and care, and yet they delivered sloppy, rushed, poorly organized work that led to loss and damage that we the customers are forced to swallowFurthermore, the claims process has bordered on the absurdWe followed their rules, filled out their forms, and communicated very clearly about what was lost and damaged, and their responses were essentially different versions of "no" and "too bad for you" (when we could even tell what they were saying) The job of the folks at [redacted] that [redacted] instructs us to contact, yet again, seems to be to deflect, obfuscate and frustrate the customer until we just give up and go away We have strings of emails with [redacted] (SIRVA Claims - Certified Claims Analyst), and she has been the exact opposite of helpful (or clear), and she appears to be completely unwilling to even try to be helpfulIt is frustrating and time-consuming to get swatted back and forth between Oakley and NAVL/SIRVA, with both of them claiming that we should talk to the other, and with both of them offering nothing helpful at allThe whole process seems designed to make it so the customer is just, well, screwed Very disappointing, and very different than the way the companies presented themselves as professionals who take pride in their work and care about customer service In any event, this move has been a terrible and costly experience due to the poor quality service and response by the Oakley/NAVL teamWe still have lost items that we have not yet replaced, and we still have damaged furniture and paintings that are not repairedWe have shared our experiences with our friends and business associates, and we will continue to do soWe will also find other forums for sharing this information, perhaps including online sites like ***, and also the California Moving and Storage Association (CMSA) who oversee movers in California, and the senior management at Oakley ( [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] ) Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear
Revdex.com of San Diego,
Your patience throughout our review of the submitted
complaint is and has been appreciated
We have completely reviewed the complaint and also
have reviewed the submitted claim form.
According to our shipping documents, and review, we do not show where
Atlas Transfer & Storage or Allied Van Lines has misguided the
shipper. There was damage sustained to
the household goods involved in the shipment and claim form was filed. We have verified that we have compensated the
customer accordingly based upon the rules and regulations set forth within our
tariff. The coverage limits the carrier
to payout based upon the elected coverage chosen by the consumer. In the event of a total loss of the entire
trailer full of household goods, all claims are and would still be settled
based upon the minimum coverage not to exceed $cents per pound per
article. In this same instance we have
recognized our negligence and compensated based upon the elected coverage. The claim form, settlement letter, and
paperwork (Bill of Lading and Rules of the Road) have been attached for your
review. This claim was and has been
addressed fairly and handled by Allied Van Lines, in Fort Wayne, IN.
We regret that the consumer
has filed a complaint and are extremely apologetic for the unfortunate event
that has occurred during their relocation with Allied Van Lines. .
If we or I can be of further
assistance, please contact us via the information outlined below at your
convenience.
