We've been trying to contact her in the past few daysWe've called her several times, emailed and left voicemailsWe would like to refund her the money she paid for the inspectionWhile we didn't perform the gas inspection ourselves (we pay a different company to do that and do not make money on it), we'd like to try and make her happyPlease reach out to her to let her know to contact us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: IN RESPONSE TO JANE'S COMMENT: What she failed to tell you is the septic tank didn't have a high level alarm that is requiredThey didn't test the pump, and I have a couple thousand dollars in repairs for the drain field that had breaks in it, shoot a small fountain out of the ground Also, when they came to my house, I showed them everything regarding my concerns for the basement [redacted] , a master inspector, told me that inspectors do not have to be "professionals" in any field in order to be an inspector So, my question is, what are you in the business for? To rip people off Back to my basement I showed them pictures of where the water came in from and where it traveled to I told them that [redacted] came to my home, and the very first thing he said was "did your inspector not tell you that these rough spots are from a current or former leak?" According to the report and myself they mentioned nothing [redacted] came out to install a sump system When they seen the marks, they said the same thing "Who did you have as your inspector because they should have known this." I brought that up to [redacted] and Wes last night, and they said "they are not professionals in basements or foundations, they are only giving a "visual inspection" What kind of bull is that? In regards to the release I had originally told them that I wanted a refund because they messed up They agreeded to the refund as long as I signed a release stating that they were not liable for anything Funny thing they forgot to mention is when I originally went to them for the refund, I tired to get the 8,dollars then, but when I said that, they said I would have to go through arbitrationWell, that is am hour with a minimum of hours at NO COST to the business you're trying to settle with UNLESS you whenThen, and ONLY THEN, are they required to pay To sum this up, they do not want to claim responsibility All I was asking was for my 8,dollars that I shouldn't have had to spend I guess trying to hold business accountable is a thing of the past when you can't afford arbitrationOAKS HOME INSPECTION has taken the easy way out The compamy that inspected the cracks and repaired them said that the floor had signs of a current/former leak The company that came out for the installation of the sump pump said the exact same thing, except they said that any good inspector should habe mentioned itAgain, they missed the septic alarm, didnt verify the pumps operation This is a joke they did refund money ry for the inspection However, when I said I was going to take them to court, they said I'd have to go through arbitration If y you look at yelp.com, yellowpages.com and their own google reviews, there are complaints just like mine They need to be held responsible for thir mistakes Sincerely, [redacted]
