Sarah ET [redacted] Oakwood Auto Specialist, IncBroadway AveBedford, OH February To Whom It May Concern: [redacted] brought his 10/ [redacted] to our establishment for transmission workHe asked if we would be able to remove his old transmission, and install the used one he had already purchasedWe set a price and he agreed to the labor with no warrantyWhen a customer purchases his or her own parts, we can not provide a warrantyAfter installing his used transmissionwe notified Mr [redacted] that his Detent cable was brokenWithout this piece intact the vehicle will not shift properlyFor months we searched with him and numerous other companies including but not limited to; [redacted] , [redacted] 's [redacted] ***, [redacted] [redacted] , etcNo one was able to find a Detent cablespoke with Mr [redacted] daily about his vehicleI let him sit in my office, searched for parts online with him, explained in detail what his vehicle needed, and tried to help him in every way I couldHis vehicle was kept at our shop, with no storage fee, for a few monthsWe made sure that no damage was done to his vehicle, and that every piece was kept with it at all timesMr [redacted] and I decided to store his vehicle at his house until a Detent cable was foundHe knew his vehicle was not functioning properly, and he would not be able to drive itI spoke with [redacted] only onceShe called on February 15, accusing us of faulty work and stolen propertyI have been nothing but kind to Mr [redacted] , and do not understand where this hostility has come fromThank you for your timeSarah ET [redacted]

one he had already purchased. We set a price and he agreed to the labor with no warranty. When a customer purchases his or her own parts, we can not provide a warranty. After installing his used transmission. we notified Mr. [redacted] that his Detent cable was broken. Without this piece intact the vehicle will not shift properly. For months we searched with him and numerous other companies including but not limited to; [redacted]'s [redacted] [redacted], etc. No one was able to find a Detent cable. spoke with Mr. [redacted] daily about his vehicle. I let him sit in my office, searched for parts online with him, explained in detail what his vehicle needed, and tried to help him in every way I could. His vehicle was kept at our shop, with no storage fee, for a few months. We made sure that no damage was done to his vehicle, and that every piece was kept with it at all times. Mr. [redacted] and I decided to store his vehicle at his house until a Detent cable was found. He knew his vehicle was not functioning properly, and he would not be able to drive it. I spoke with [redacted] only once. She called on February 15, 2016 accusing us of faulty work and stolen property.
