*** has talked with *** *** and hopefully everything is resolved. As per the attached invoice, *** we replaced the AC evaporator core, O-rings and Schrader valve on *** ***' Expedition on 7/31/13. We used a new Motorcraft evaporator, Motorcraft O-ring seals and an
aftermarket Schrader valve. After this repair, the AC system held vacuum and we recharged it with Freon. We are unsure of what portion of the air conditioning system the current garage is looking at. We have never serviced or replaced the AC compressor or any other major component of the AC system other than said evaporator core. After talking with *** ***, *** believes that the current issue is with the AC compressor and auxilliary parts associated with it. *** *** doesn't think that the AC evaporator was part of the present repair. *** invited *** *** over to Gary's Full Service to go over what we did and what has just been replaced, to be sure that there is no overlap. The evaporator job that we did had the standard month, 12,mile warranty; it appears that everything in the AC system worked well until just recently, and that the evaporator is continuing to work effectively
