I had a flat tire replaced - 1st time I've used Oasis. Spoke to [redacted] on the phone prior to coming in. His price was 15% cheaper than two other shops in the area with high ratings. He matched the exact tire I wanted - didn't have it on hand, but said he could get it and have it on my car today. I dropped my car off and picked it up 2 hours later with the right tire for the price he quoted me. Efficient service. No problems. And they did not try to sell me extra tires - just replaced the one that was flat - the other 3 are in good shape. I asked about rotating the tires, and [redacted] explained to me how and when that should be done, and offered to do it when the time came for FREE.

[redacted] (the customer) had picked up [redacted] my Assistant Manager to get the customers vehicle from his house. For the past two days the customer had been stating that the car is in perfect shape there are no dents dings, scratches etc. etc, and kept stating that over and over. Which I thought was kind...

of odd. Long story short, we pick up vehicle, pull directly into shop, where there is nothing that could touch that vehicle or dent/scratch anything. We replace the fuel pump, bring back down, test drive it call the customer. Customer shows up picks up vehicle and until he gets home he walks directly to the scratch/dent and states we had done this. Find it odd how this guy states that there is not a ding or scratch on his truck, and then walks directly to the spot and accuses us of doing such a thing. We work on cars that are worth 50k plus, street rods, hotrods, exotics and treat every car with the same consideration. Fender covers always used, and nothing to be stored around any vehicle that can cause harm.    We are a very honest shop. So I'm stating that the dent/scratch in customers drivers side rear fender was definitely done at our shop. If it had happened at my shop than I would have no problem paying for it. But it didn't   Thank you           [redacted]

The car had come in under a different manager at the time. The car came in with a broken shifter cable and would not go into reverse. tight. Let customer know what we found and customer had said to order the shifter cable. We ordered the shifter cable and took a bit to come in as it was special order had to get from another state. Cable arrived and we installed. The reverse gear was still really hard to get into revers but it would go. Telephoned customer and told her what the shifter was doing, and mentioned that the issue is in the transmission and would need a new or rebuild to fix the issue. This is where it all got mixed up. She had thought that I said it needs a new transmission and the car is not drive-able which is not what I said. I stated that the transmission would have to come out of car for it to work properly not that it did not work at all. As it did work it was just hard to get into reverse. This is more of a communication issue that was resolved with a call to the customer reiterating what was going on after the [redacted] complaint was filed. Customer was explained again of what was going on and that the car is drive-able but the cable may break again due to the transmission issue. Customer came and picked up vehicle and no other issues or concerns were made by customer since. We handled the situation the best we could with the time having to wait on parts and the diagnosis
