Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Tim is not being forth coming and honest about the conversations, he told both myself and my husband that due to us walking on the backyard they could not honor the warrantyI have provided the original documentation of the warranty that was signed by both myself and Tim and nowhere does it state what he has saidPlease see attachedAs for the dogs, since when does landscaping not withstand animals? Especially inside dogs that only go outside to use the bathroomThis is the first time we have heard that excuseTim's story keeps changing each timeAs for not leaving our job to work on another, part of the crew was pulled away to work on another jobBoth me and my husband were there when they were pulled away; the remaining crew even apologized to us for that.I never asked that they leave one job to come to ours, I simply wanted a returned phone call and a date scheduled as to when we could get the warranty work doneAny extra work, like the extra gravel I inquired about was completely understood that there would be additional charges since that was something extraWe got to the point we were not interested in Oasis doing any extra work for us, we just wanted the warranty work covered.It doesn't matter what excuse Tim comes up with for inadequate work that was originally done, there is absolutely no reason for multiple seams to show through the rock with such minimal use that the backyard has hadEither staples need to be used to correct the seam problem, or more rock needs to be added to hold it downThe seams should not show.If Oasis does honor their warranty work as stated in the documentation then both myself and my husband request that Tim not be involved or come anywhere near our residence Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

Response to customer’s statement of problem:Re: Mrs***From: Tim S*Yes we do offer a one year warranty on labor and materialsThe exception to this, for obvious reasons, is damage caused by insects, animals/pets, acts of God/nature
and the lack of water.Yes some weed barrier had been exposedMrs*** states that there were not enough staples used to hold the weed barrier in placeStaples are used very little, if only to keep the barrier in place, usually during installation on windy days, before the gravel is placed on top of itIt is not the staples that hold the fabric in place but the many, many tons of gravelIn this case, tons.Mrs*** states that we would not honor the warranty because they walked on itAbsolutely not true!What Mrs*** has neglected to mention is that she has an above average number of dogs that frequent the yard dailyWhen one of our team members did a site visit to assess the situation, he discovered that the plants in question reeked strongly of dog urine and showed signs of freeze damageAs published by Weather Spark, Las Cruces experienced freezing temperatures on November 18th, December 28th and February 24thThe large number of dogs running the same path over and over had caused the displacement / thinning of the gravel and damage/ movement to the under lying weed barrierMrs*** even concurred at the time.Mrs*** is disgruntled because we were not able to respond to her request to add additional gravel and replace dead plants,both non-warranty items, in a time frame that suited her schedule. We would have had to charge for this. It is our busiest time of year and we simply could not ignore other projects and clients to take care of her non-warranty itemsWe would not and did not do that to her when we were working on her new landscape
