The reason a refund was not issued is because our records indicate that the item was received after the day money back guarantee periodHowever, seeing as the customer did contact us on July 22, for return instructions, and he was eligible for a full refund up until August 8, 2015, we
figured a logistical error must have occurred with the return shipment causing a delayAs this is out of the customer's control, we have decided to issue him a full refundWe have spoken to the customer today to advise of the refund

Well me and my wife purchased a [redacted] around April. We had it about two weeks and it started overheating.. I took it to my mechanic who said it was burning antifreeze, you could smell it in the exhaust. I was not familiar with the smell as I've only bought several cars and [redacted] (the owner) seemed so upfront and friendly. I called him and asked him if he wanted to buy it back if I paid him per mile we had put on it. He proceeded to call me a crook and a bad person. Says the guy who knowingly sold a Lemon. I've been told by 3 professionals who work on cars that this isn't something a "car guy" or dealer would miss. So to date (7-13-15), we've put in a new head gasket. New timing kit, and some power steering components have also been replaced.I was told I was sold a patched lemon. which makes since because the car looked great! But it fell apart very quickly. I was very disappointed with the entire situation, I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone.Product_Or_Service: CarDesired SettlementWe've paid around 2500.00 in repairs to a public shop and private mechanic. we would like them to cover 50% of the cost of present repairs. I'm asking this because they sold the lemon, but we were to young to realize it at the time.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] (owner)Contact Phone: [redacted]We suggested that the customer have the vehicle checked out by mechanic of their choice and a warranty/service agreement was offered at time of sale (which was declined). Customer called me days after the sale and asked me to buy it back pay at full sale price when I explained businesses can not operate with no profit he became irate and told me the vehicle was having problems. Before we sold the vehicle we had it checked by our mechanic and was told its good to go. Consumer Response He did offer to let me have a mechanic check it out. But refused to let me take it to my mechanic (We live 1 hour away and my mechanic is about 1.5 hours from the "dealership".) but [redacted] told me it was to far away and that he would have to come to the Dealership. I couldn't afford to have that done. I never said you didn't offer a warranty, I said you sold a lemon. I did not ask full sales price I asked for as close as possible minus the miles I had put on it. I did become very upset and angry when I was called a crook and thief. If this car was checked by a mechanic, he wasn't very good. The inside of the engine showed years of antifreeze/oil burn from what I was told. I wasn't aware of the smell of this or it would have never been drove off the lot. The only person I can say this car saw was a very skilled cleaning guy. very disappointed in this entire situation.
