Tell us why here...we showed up to do the job and when we saw the color I told [redacted] that it would be a $400 to 500 more for color change. Him and I discussed it. My employees [redacted] and [redacted] where there to witness it. We proceeded to prep the house. I told [redacted] whatever it...
cost me to fix the rooten wood that is what I charge. I charge $25 on my card for the wood and 200 for labor which [redacted] doesn't think that labor is a part of cost. We painted his house on Monday, I had to go back to the store to get more blue paint. Twice because covering dark blue over white takes more paint. We finished that day and came back the next day and doing the trim which we needed more paint of white trim. [redacted] comes out at noon saying that he was not happy with the carpentry repair. My crew of five was there to witness the whole thing. I told home it was 200 for labor. Then he proceed to swear at me and I told him that I was willing to fix it and he said "do not touch it". So I did not. Then we finish and we walked all around doing touch ups he pointed out. Then he paid me. Then a few days later he wanted to meet and discuss the job with his girlfriend. I agreed I meet on Sunday 23 at 845 am. To resolve any issues. We agreed that he would buy the wood I would come and fix the other wood and do a couples areas that I missed because He did not want me to touch it. The cost was going to be $200. They said they could not do it for a couple weeks because of school finals, remodeling a bathroom and another reason. I have not heard from them since. If he was so unhappy why did he pay me. He has his free agency, if he did want my company to do the job, he could have told me to leave. I did not hold a gun to his head forcing him to use my company. In 22 years of business, I have had no complaints. If he wanted a contract, he showed have said I need a contract before I give you the job. I have witnesses to back up my claims. I was never compensated for my labor for the wood repair and for the verbal abuse in my front of my crew.
