I have been working directly with Ms [redacted] with regards to her complaint All resolved last week to her satisfaction.BTW, I did not receive the first email notification regarding this complaint, I found it in my spam folder today Do you ever send written notice?Best regards, [redacted] *** ***

Mrs***, It is disappointing to hear that that you are unhappy with services provided by Oberg Properties during tenancies at two properties you resided at from August, through January, and then January, through May, It is my understanding that you are
aware that these homes were owned by others and that Oberg’s ability as Managing Agent to repair/maintain was limited by contract between each property owner and Oberg. Contractual terms severely limit our ability to resolve repair issues without owner consent when repair costs are estimated to be $or more. Our records reflect that some repair issues were reported timely by you and were immediately responded to. Other items were reported after you vacated each property, and for that we thank you. Those items were remedied shortly thereafter. The owner of the *** *** home did not, in our opinion, act timely or in their best interest with respect to repair decisions regarding roof issues, plumbing, oven, and other items. We terminated this relationship shortly after you moved out of the home as a result of your rental experience With regards to the utility bills you refer to, they are what they are. You were required to pay all utilities during the term of each tenancy to include: electric, water & sewer, telephone, internet, cable and trash. Owners for the most part control what services, like cable, are in place in each home. There is very little competition between cable services in Lakeway and I would agree, it can be expensive Our records reflect that the security and utility deposits were settled on June 26, 2015. Refund checks were mailed a post office box, the last address on file. The post office returned that item marked “Return to Sender, No such Number, Unable to Forward” on July 26, 2015. You provided a forwarding address on July 2, 2015, after the deposits were settled and mailed. Stop payments were processed at our expense and replacement checks were issued at the time I hope you are enjoying your new home and that your family has settled in Best regards, *** *** ***
