Review: In 2012 my husband hired [redacted] Landscape to do some landscaping, as well as install a maintenance free deck. In late summer boards from the deck were popping up and we noticed weaving in other areas of the deck. Mr. [redacted] was called to come out and repair the deck. He did come out and nailed the boards. In 2013 more boards popped up as well as pulled away from the deck. Again Mr. [redacted] was contacted. We were told he would come out in a few weeks. Those weeks passed and he didn't come out. Again he was called. In May 2014 I contacted Mr. [redacted] via email - no response. Via phone - no response. I sent a quote inquiry via his website and I did receive an email from Mr. [redacted] asking if I would like him to come out and provide a quote for a deck. I responded to his email that he had already built a deck and proceeded to revisit the issues. NO response. In June 2014 I contacted the manufacturer and provided pictures of the deck. They sent a representative, as well as an experienced installer to my home. One of the first things noted was the deck was not installed per manufacturers guidelines. Also due to the size of the deck there should have been vents installed for the deck to breathe (hence the waves).

At this time there are boards over the entire deck that are sticking up and a trip hazard to my young family, as well as my guests. I think it ridiculous that I spent $12,000 on a deck that I cannot enjoy. Based on what the manufacturer tells us we must spend another $4500-$5000 to repair. This is money we DO NOT have. Mr. [redacted] got into a job that was over his head and he did not have the courtesy to tell us. He saw dollar signs and that was all he cared about.Desired Settlement: We would like the deck to be repaired by an installer who is familiar with the product - not Mr. [redacted] or anyone associated with his firm. The repair cost would be at Mr. [redacted]'s expense. This inconvenience has gone on long enough.

[redacted]I recently received a letter from the Revdex.com with your complaint and timing of events. I did respond last year and I did not make it out to inspect and repair as I promised I would. This sometimes happens when busy and I apologize. I did not receive any emails or calls from you this year until I got the email request through my website. After responding to your request and getting your email response I had intended to respond. Before I could, I received another email from you that made assumptions for my lack of response and was threatening. At that point I decided not to respond. I was not aware of the attempts you made prior to to contact me, I never got the email or voicemail. I should have responded to you even though I did not like the accusations.
