Thank you for bringing this to my attentionThis is an unfortunate situationThis customer was hard pressed and I felt sorry for herShe did not make enough money to qualify for financing, but I told her she could have the vehicle for $down, if she would bring another $in three days, and
make bi-weekly payments of $The total price was about $It was an "as is" saleThe price was low because we knew it would need work in the futureIn any case, she kept the vehicle for three monthsWe called her many times trying to talk to her and locate our vehicleShe never made another payment, and she never put insurance on itShe has returned it to usThe missing vehicle caused us a lot of time and troubleWe do not sell to people outside Morrow County, She used a address in Cardington on her applicationWe may further pursue this in courtIf we can be of further assistance, please let us knowThank you

This is a very unfortunate situation, indeed; however, there is no need to lie about what actually transpired. Yes I was in desperate need of a vehicle to get back and forth to work, in which I did express to the gentleman at the car lot and at no point in time, did the dealer ever say that I didn't make enough money to qualify for financing. If this was the case, I wouldn't have been able to purchase my previous vehicle. After advising him that I work in Columbus, which is an hour drive from where I was living at the time, at no point in time, did the dealer ever say that they were selling me a vehicle that would need work. Knowing that I would be driving an hour to and from work, you would think an honest car dealer would advise that this vehicle would not be a safe option. Especially, since he “Felt sorry for me.” Yes I did buy this vehicle, "As Is," however, "As Is," does equal a parts or project vehicle. Had this vehicle been advertised as such, I would not have gone through with the deal, knowing that I would not be able to pay for the costly repairs and payment of the vehicle. The dealer, stated that they knew the vehicle was in need of such repairs, this would make one believe that if the vehicle needed such repairs, they should have been taken care of it before selling it to a customer and they should have also disclosed this information to the customer, what repairs needed to be done. Had I known what it was going to cost me, in repairs and lost wages, I would not have purchased this vehicle. They state that the price of the vehicle was $2600, which is false, I do have the receipt. They also stated that they called me many times, which is also false. I only spoke to someone 2 times and advised this person what was going on with the vehicle and that I had mailed my payment into them in the form of a money order, to which I was told that then never received it. I mailed in my payment, because by the time I get off work and drive an hour to Edison, the lot is closed. The dealership also states that I falsified my address, which is also inaccurate. I did live in Cardington at the time I purchased the vehicle and I did tell them that I work in Columbus, which is an hour drive from Cardington. After that, I was staying with a friend in Mt. Gilead. I then had to move back to Columbus, because my grandmother fell and broke her hip in May and needed someone to be there to take care of her. If they wish to pursue this in court, that is fine with me, because I have a list of people who have also purchased from this company, which used to be under the name, “Auto Trend,” that had the same or similar issues as I have had. For example, one car was purchased that had over 15 things wrong with it and according to car fax, was not legally allowed to be on the road. Another car that was purchased from there, sat in a shop for 6 months, before the customer was able to even drive it. With that being said, I do not feel that this has to be a fight. At this point, I just want to be released from any further obligation under the terms of the contract, since the vehicle was advertised as safe and drive-able and the dealer knowing that is wasn’t. I have returned the vehicle to the car lot, with no further intentions to deal with this company.
