To whom it may concern:                                    ...                                The piece of paper I attached with my first letter regarding warranty information states clearly that IT IS NOT A RECIEPT it was only to show warranty coverage. [redacted] did contact me via text message in August regarding the issue with the four wheel drive stating that she ([redacted]) already had the problem addressed by another repair facility which clearly VOIDS the warranty in the disclosure at the bottom of the invoice. If [redacted] would have contacted us prior to another repair facility working on the four wheel drive we would of gladly stood behind our personal warranty. Regards, Jennifer O[redacted]

To Whom it may concern,
Any barter struck between the Obrays and I was mutually beneficial. I really don't believe the Obrays would have taken a check without funds. It was Christmas and I stayed home because my truck was broken and the roads were questionable. I didn't have the money because I am on disability because I have RA. $750 is a huge amount to come up with for me.
After the Obrays replaced the 4X actuator in my truck and it was still broke. I have had to educate myself about actuators. I called a couple of shops. One guy told me he didn't have the diagnostic tools for an actuator. He also told me to take it to the Toyota shop. The other guy I talked to said boy they saw you coming. He laughed at me. I didn't tell him I had paid extra for a lifetime warranty.
I called Peterson Toyota they were very puzzled by what I had to say. They charged me $100 to diagnos the problem. They then fixed the actuator. They did not replace it. I have learned more about actuators than I wanted to. It seems the 4X actuator in a 02 Toyota Tacoma is not a part but several that are replaced as each go bad. Its like the brakes you don't replace the system when the pads are worn.
I was not shown any part by the Obrays. I have not talked to any of them on the phone since leaving the shop. I have texted them.
I did listen to what you said. you said we don't stand behind our work and we won't give you your money back. I still need my money back. I would very much like to have the part he took off so I can take it to a mechanic for identification.
I am almost sure they did same thing when Jennifer was talking about cooking the books she would have to put something down to justify the cost of the pad.

To Whom It May Concern:      First of all we have been in business for several years with no dissatisfied customers or complaints. Our goal has always been to educate our customers and explain repairs needed to avoid any confusion. Second of all we have never told or lead anyone to...

believe that we don't pay our taxes. Just like all good businesses we pay our taxes. With this being said we would have gladly taken a personal check from [redacted] for the repairs. Knowing it was winter and four wheel drive being needed in her case we gave her the option to trade some of the bill to help her out. [redacted] told me that she wouldn't be able to come up with all the money right then due to a vet bill on one of her animals. When we removed the four wheel drive actuator from her vehicle we showed her what was wrong with the part the same as we do with all of our customers. After we replaced the four wheel drive actuator we had her drive her vehicle to verify that the issue she was having was gone and that she was satisfied with the repairs. I talked to [redacted] several times over this past winter to verify that the issues didn't return. Unfortunately the four wheel drive actuator only had a 90 day warranty which I tried to explain to [redacted] when she contacted me on August 19th 2016 via text message. She would not listen to what I had to say (we still have these messages if needed). We also still have the old four wheel drive actuator if needed. Attached to this letter you will find a copy of the warranty information for the four wheel drive actuator from the distributor and a copy of the receipt that we gave to [redacted] when repairs were completed. Which also covers our personal warranty information. We are very confused where [redacted] came up with the amount being $750.00 as you can clearly see the total was $618.98. Please let us know if we can provide you with any further information to resolve this confusion as quickly as possible! I would appreciate a personal phone call to discuss what needs to be done next and expect that this will be completely resolved and removed from our record.--                                                                                                                                                                                              Regards, Cody O[redacted] Repair                                                                                                                                                                  Jennifer O[redacted]Cody O[redacted]                                                                                                                                                                              Cody O[redacted] RepairOwner/Operator                                                                                                                                                                      [redacted]                                                                                                                                                                            [redacted]
