Pat O’Brien no longer runs business, his son does. They charged a premium price for my yearly snow removal contract but do not adhere to their own contract. During major snow events they usually plow my driveway only once. It stopped snowing overnight and it is currently 2:00 pm and nobody has shown up to clear the 10 inches of snow from my driveway.
Bad business
There was a driving ban in Elma. However we were driving in white out conditions all day barely able to stay on the road. *** was plowed by 3 pm. We started plowing Elma at 10am. In 5 hours we had only been able to plow 23 driveways with that one truck. I had completed the other 17 driveways with the other truck. Under the blizzard conditions we experienced with the driving band in affect I am proud of the work we did and thank God we had no accidents. Many plow removal services have in there contracts if there is a travel band they will wait until it is lifted before they resume plowing. It took us 5 hours to plow 23 driveways because the white out blizzard conditions were rediculous and we should not have been driving in them. *** we will do our best job we can for you for the rest of the season. Sorry you could not leave your driveway to drive around in the driving band and experience the horrible white outs first hand.
Many areas for improvement. Will only come at midnight and 3pm, if at all, despite when the snow falls. Large amounts of gravel from the driveway on the lawn. After the recent snow last night with over 12 inches in our driveway, didn’t come at all, nor did they return our call/voicemail. I would think it would be necessary to have someone else service your customers if you’ll be unavailable when a contract goes through April, but we know to go with a different company next year.
