I purchased my truck a little over months ago The truck cost $32K for a model A lot of money but it had lower mileage (108K) for a diesel truck After delivery, I was told the truck was missing certain items for smog check but would be sent these items in order to replace them on the truck(Missing smog items? How did the truck pass smog in the first place?) I recently took it to my local shop to have the oil changed and asked them took look the truck over as it was making some noises which sounded like metal on metal It is now going to cost me almost $5K to have the repairs done (coolant and suspension issues specifically) Additionally, I still have not received all of the items which are listed on my "DUE BILL." I had to rewire the driving lights (a DUE BILL item) because whoever wired them did a poor job My left rear tail light fell out between home and work, the whole assembly and had to be replaced Spent over $for a new radio as the old one had issu

Hello,We have records where we have asked the customer to bring in his vehicle to take care of his requests, and he never responded. It is not a sound business decision for a USED car dealership to authorize work on a vehicle before we are given the chance to inspect the vehicle ourselves, and...

figure out what the issues are. It is also not a wise business decision to authorize a different repair facility to do said work, and pay the bill. This customer needs to understand that this is a USED car dealership, not a new car dealership. Other than safety items, we are not required by law to fix anything on a vehicle that doesn't represent a safety issue. However, since we are not like most dealers, we go above and beyond to sell good quality pre-owned vehicles, and spend much more on fixing them than any of our competition in the entire state of California. With this particular vehicle, we spent approx. $3,627 making this vehicle better than the standard "AS-IS" condition that most dealers offer. With that said, this vehicle is in fact sold on an AS-IS basis. With many of his complaints, such as radio, etc., that is something that may just come with the territory. Like I said, these are used vehicles, and we do not have a crystal ball to know what will happen with any given thing down the road. But we spent $3,627 putting in better condition, and that is something that we are not required by law to do. All receipts, reports, costs, are available if need be. As far as the due bill items, or anything else, attached are copies of our conversations with this customer that shows that we did in fact ask for him to come up and that we'd take care of everything in less than a day. Furthermore, he already received an enormous discount on this truck. This truck is valued at about $40-45,000. You can look that up on [redacted] or [redacted]. He was sold the truck at $30,883. This is a fantastic deal. To pay him another 5k would be unheard of.We have a stellar reputation in the diesel truck community, and that is something that can be proven with a quick internet search. We always try to do good by our customers, even if it means we are losing. I don't believe this customer is being fair in any way. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I trust that you will be fair in your assessments when provided with all the facts.[redacted]CEO / President
