I am rejecting this response because:We were never made aware that the equipment would no longer be covered under any available manufacturer warranty. We were aware of the 30-day return policy from the store and did attempt to monitor the performance closely during that period. Unfortunately for us it did appear to be working acceptably during that brief period. However, shortly after that period, it was no longer working properly and we attempted to contact the manufacturer for remedy and/or service. The manufacturing company of the beverage cooling unit, VinoTemp, ultimately advised us their records showed the product sold to a [redacted] customer in 2013. It therefore appears that after years of consumer usage it was returned to [redacted] and then likely obtained by OC Outlet for subsequent resale. That type of usage history situation was never disclosed that this was a likely highly used product returned after being deemed defective. There is a vast difference between an overstock or "returned" item versus a potentially highly"used" item being resold and we feel that was not disclosed or expressed clearly at all before making our purchase. This product should never have been sold without disclosure of the age, condition of the product and explicit lack of warranty coverage. I have been deceived by this company and would never had considered purchasing a used and defective product. I am requesting that OC Outlet refund my purchase price of $367.49.
