On January 14, a message was received via Facebook Messenger that a dresser purchased the day prior had a musty oder the following day after being placed in their home and that due to their sons sensitivity to smell they may need to return itI messaged back that we do not purchase
for resale this type of item but that if it was truly and issue it would be refundedNo follow up message was received by the customer and it was my understanding that this was no longer an issueOn January 17, I received another message that after using fabric softener sheets the problem was not resolved and the customer wanted to return the productDue to the fact that the item was not returned immediately and that the product had been altered by the customer using fabric softener sheets there was no obligation to refund the purchaseI also believe that the customer blocked my ability to contact them as all subsequent messaging attempts were not able to be sent "You are not able to respond to this conversation" was the message receivedI tried to find the customer on Facebook to send a private message and was unable to do soThe customer had the ability to contact the store via Phone/Text/Email information provided on the Facebook page but did not make any attempt to do so until after a message thru another party asked them to callA text message was received the following day and the customer was informed that the time to return the item had been exceeded
