Ocean Beach Marina Inc

Review: We bought a brand new boat on 6/13/10 from Ocean Beach. We were told the boat was a leftover but a brand new boat, and the warranty on the motors and hull started when we picked up the boat. The motors and hull had a 3yr warranty. This past January Welcraft went out of business, and we realize that the hull, because of the bankruptcy, would not carry any more warranty. However, the engines on the boat are Evenrude and Evenrude is very much in business. We brought the boat to an Evenrude authorized repair facility for a warranty issue and we were told by Evenrude the motors were no longer under warranty. Much to our dismay, we were told by Ocean Beach Marina that the engines had a 3yr warranty. We were stuck for paying for the repairs on the engines out of our pocket. We have since contacted Ocean Beach Marina and have not gotten a solution to our problem; all we are told is the boat is 3yrs old, however we have documentation on our original buyers order from ocean Beach marina stating the boat is a "new boat". We are asking Ocean Beach Marina to either refund us the purchase price of our boat, or give us the 3yr warranty that we were promiced.
