I am the Clinical Supervisor for OCFC/Meridian Urgent Care in Toms RiverI was informed the next day by front desk about patient coming in and them letting her know that we do not participate with her insuranceThe patient was very hostile and left slamming the door behind herWe do not participate with her insurance, [redacted] since 12/I called the patient directly after I received complaint to apologize to her but she was very angryThe person that she interacted with at the front desk is a very nice person that is never rude to anybodyUnfortunately we have not accepted checks from patients at the Urgent Care where she went instead of making an appointment with her primary on our appointment side since 11/She could have used a credit card or paid cash or made an appointment to see doctor and paid by a check in our appointment side, not the Urgent Care which is really for sick or injured patientsThis patient's medication had been refilled before she came in for an office visit as a courtesy by the doctor until she was able to find a doctor in her network, which she stated to me when I called her that she already had a doctor in her insurance networkI had called the patient when the medication was refilled and left her a message because she left hostile messages about having her medication filled an we worked with the doctor to make sure he filled it for her, but she still insisted that we were all rude to her which is simply not trueUnfortunately [redacted] gives patients wrong information when they are asked about participating providers

I am rejecting this response because:You have been accepting my insurance ALL DURING & 2016, now you inform me you don't accept my insurance simply because you are too lazy to submit to my primary and secondary which you DO ACCEPT and I was not hostile, simply firm until the end when you gave me NO alternative but to leaveVery unprofessional office, lazy and unwilling to accomodate a year continuing patient.

The person that she interacted with at the front desk is a very nice person that is never rude to anybody.
