Cockroaches in the roomsNo help regarding problem
Staying in room on 8/22/2017, found multiple cockroaches in the rooms and asked the company to spray to room with roach sprayFound more cockroaches on 8/23/17, including one in the sheets of my bedWhen I called the front desk at 11:pm (bed time), the night auditor informed me that they could not help me with the roach problem and that I would have to call in the morning at amAFTER finding a roach in my bedThe night auditor refused to transfer me to a manager and also refused to transfer our room to a non-roach infested building DO NOT stay here
I made a reservation for my husband an I to stay at this Resort- The bathroom was surrounded in mold- We noticed a musty smell an turned on the air purifier that was in the room- I called p to front an told them about the musty smell an mold in the bathroom- I was told that the ere fully booked an nothing they could doMy husband an I left to get dinner and when we came back the musty smell was still there- We did not use the bathroom at all an in fact kept the door where the toilet and shower were closed- My husband suffers from severe COPD an is on oxygen- We checked out early the next morning without showering- For the next days my husband was coughing severely from the mold irritating his lungs- I have wrote to the hotel times an no response- I also told the gal when we checked out an she said all she was authorized to do is put note on my account to provide discount next time we stay- I indicated there wont be a next time after thisShe indicated thats all she was able to
I was told I could cancel within days with no fee however; I called to cancel before the days and told I have to pay $
I made a reservation on 8-31-for a wedding group (***) and was told at that time if I canceled before days there will be no fee I called 9-1-to cancel the reservation and was told there is a $fee to cancel a "group" reservation I was transferred to a *** who stated there is a fee for cancelling groups and it is in the contract, I informed her I made the reservation over the phone and had no contract to read She then transferred me to a *** *** who did not answer and I left a message on his phone I was never informed of the $fee or I would not have made the reservation I can not be held responsible for "contracts" or "agreements" told to the groom or bride The employee who took the reservation should have informed me at that time but she did not I will not pay a fee I was not told about
