Review: I went to Ocean Diamond Jewelry to inquire about the jeweler making a wedding band for me on May [redacted] 2013. He claimed he can make the band within two weeks, with bigger diamonds and quoted a price of $1650. He required a deposit, I gave him my wedding set which included a (1) wedding band and (1) engagement ring (he valued it at $400.00 and accepted the set in lieu of cash for the deposit), I also gave him a cash deposit of $625 making the total deposit $1025. During the months of may and june and july I kept inquiring about the progress of the wedding band he was to make and he continuously replied that he is still making my wedding band. On July [redacted] I spoke with the jeweler and asked him the status of the due date for the band and he replied that he is making it..I requested a cancellation and refund of my items and cash because it was almost three months and no product especially when he told me in the beginning that the ring would take two weeks. This business owner ([redacted]) refuses to return my deposit. I believe this guy scammed and engaged in a fraudulent business act by claiming he can make an item and requiring a deposit for no product. I would like someone to assist me in getting my deposit returned.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to assist me in getting my deposit returned as this business owner constituted a scam and fraudulent business act. He did not deliver any product and refuses to return my deposit or return my items.Please help!!
